The GOP nomination is kinda like The Highlander: There can only be one. With nominees dropping like flies off the rotted corpse of what was once the Grand Old Party, by the time the clown car rolls into the Golden State on June 5, there may only be two dudes left: Mitt Rmoney and Fred Karger.

Fred Who? The first openly gay candidate of major political party to ever run for President. And he’s a Republican, with an ad that features a parental advisory, probably because at the end of the minute long video, two cute dudes kiss–something that wouldn’t fly with NOM, but definitely gets the point across that Karger isn’t a typical GOP candidate.

Karger’s video showcases the iconic California beaches as a group of twenty-somethings frolic and the candidate explains his platform:

I have the best jobs plan, I’m pro-choice, support gay marriage, and I want us out Afghanistan now. If you’re not excited about Mitt Romney or the direction of the Republican party, then I ask you to vote for me.

The only thing he has in common with Romney is that they’d both be great on Saturday Night Live, though for very different reasons.
