I don’t watch TV so I don’t have a sense of his presence on the political talk circuit. But in the blogosphere, I barely heard a peep from him on this health insurance abomination.
Does he now support this bill?
If so when did he flip?
Why did he flip?
Is he paid off?
Is he part of the Villagers now? That would suck if "they" got him.
Where the fruck did Dean go? Shouldn’t he be all over the airwaves blasting this bill as the bend-over-ass-fuck-of-a-bill that it is?
It taxes middle class health plans
Forces us to buy shit.
Loopholes for denying preexisting conditions
No rate review authority.
No drug reimportation.
No drug price negotation.
No drug evergreening restrictions.
No public insurance option.
No coverage of woman’s reproductive health.
There’s a lot more taco shits in the bill, but these are the dirtiest ones.
You would think that someone such as MD Dean would have been all over these.
There are only a few big names left that are actually fighting for us. Or attempting to fight for us.
Cenk Uygur, Jane Hamsher, Michael Moore, John Stewart. Sad thing is they’re all media figures, not government officials. So they can’t enact any real policy changes. I hope Congressman Grayson is able to get somewhere with his Medicare Buy-In act, but I highly doubt his bill will even make it out of the house.

Cenk Uygur is a big name? Isn’t he the same guy who predicted weeks ago that Rahm would be forced out of the administration?
As to Howard Dean, Simon and Garfunkel had it right, America has no more heroes:

American hasn’t had any true-blue heroes since the 1960′s, imho.
We have lots of heroes but none are in government because it’s too corrupt and heroes don’t do corruption.
Howard Dean sold out and supports this bill. Single Payer activists confronted Dean a few days ago. Watch it on YouTube here.

Gawd Mason–there’s a testament to democracy. If you want it different, make it different. Heros are made after the event, by PR agents. Actual change is a bloody, sucky, messy war, cleaned up later for consumption by 3rd graders. Grow up, grow a set and get dirty! THAT is how democracy works.
Dean wimped out in the end. I saw his sorry ass whining about the bill and then still saying he has to support it. It all comes down to party loyalty now I think. Once Obamarahma settled on exactly what all the back room deals looked like they put down the hammer. None of the Kabuki dance in Congress had anything to do with it. Now they’ll crush the opposition on the left and cave to it on the right. That’s been the pattern from day 1 with this group. Kick the Dirty hippies and kiss the blue dogs. They’re gambling big time by Nov. all the bruised feeling will have healed. Dean is a party guy and in the end he did a DK and flipped. I will never listen to any of these pathetic shit bags again. they lost me after 45 yrs. Never never again!
