If anyone was thinking that we’ve reached the land of milk and honey with Obama’s election, I just thought that I’d pass on just what the wingnuts are planning on doing.
For a reality coming to you, you might want to read what John Hawkins of Right Wing News says they are going to do:
I was on a radio show a few days ago and a liberal caller was on the line. Someone on the show asked me what I planned to do over the next few years with Obama in the White House and I said, "Kneecap him at every opportunity." Bipartisanship came up and I said something akin to, "I’m not interested in bipartisanship. I want to defeat liberalism, not cooperate with it. I want to throw sand in the gears at every opportunity and if Obama wants to work with us, he’s going to move to the right."
The caller seemed slightly stunned at my attitude, as if he thought now that Obama won, the Right would just roll over and die…
…Just so everybody knows where I stand, let me be clear: I’m not interested in allowing that moronic, corrupt, anti-white, lying, socialist Obama to methodically destroy everything that’s decent and good in the country in the name of bipartisanship, unity, or "giving him a chance."
What I am interested in doing is engineering gridlock, thwarting his agenda at every turn, smashing the Democrats in 2010, and then beating Obama in 2012…

Just remember the faces on the videos from election night, the tens of thousands of ordinary Americans who came out to celebrate Obama.
That’s an army, if properly mobilized.
This guy has about 200 other bloggers like himself, a few thousand employees of Fox News and other known wingnut media bloviators, and the staff and donors of the Heritage Foundation. It’s a nasty little battalion … but everything they had that they thought was such a great weapon against Barak and the Dems — sneering at community organizer, lack of experience, Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers, socialism, and you know, the guy’s a n…r — all that crap failed to change the majority’s mind the first time.
So it’s wise to keep tabs on these wingnuts, yet a snarky sense of superiority in intelligence may actually be a good tactic for most people on our side. We can make mistakes, but we are smart enough to recognize them and correct them, which is a big part of being more intelligent than these wingnuts.
Yup.
this a frightening but not surprising
today’s cocenrvatism has nothing to do with our country it’s all about their team
they will (and have) destroy the future of their kids to “defeat liberalism”
they are puppets, mindless, brainwashed little boys and girls
We need to send this post to every Dem who is talking about working with the GOP.
Great post, thank you MadDog!
