In Illinois’ primary on Tuesday, I’m debating if I should vote for the Green Party candidates or stay home.

It’s true that the Green candidates don’t have any competition since they’re putting their slate unopposed on the ballot, which means those candidates will be on the November ballot for the general election.

For Obama’s old senate seat, LeAlan Jones is running. He’s been getting some national attention (a Charlie Rose interview and an article by Chris Hedges ( )).

If only the Greens were more of a contender. (Sigh)
