The Penguin is obviously a Republican.

The Penguin is dressed as a caricature of a Republican from FDR’s time Penguin is a derogatory term for someone wearing a Tux.
Maybe DC Comics could boost circulation by bringing the Penguin back to his hinted role as a GOP fat cat villain.
Funny that a guy sporting a lavender top-hat would accuse someone else of wearing a “ridiculous costume.” Perhaps this is where young Karl got the inspiration for the Republican tactic of projecting their faults onto their opponents.
