Kelly Canfield challenged me to produce an astrological natal chart interpretation about an unknown person of unknown gender. He provided the date of birth, place of birth, and time of birth. I cast the Mystery Guest’s natal chart using Solar Fire and this is my interpretation. I posted the chart data in my previous post titled, Powerful and Favorable Astrological Influences Today. It’s the last of 283 comments to my diary. Apparently, comments are closed — at least there is no comment box in which to enter a comment, so I’m posting my interpretation of the raw data here as a new diary. According to the agreement that Kelly and I reached, he will share my interpretation with the Mystery Guest who will then let us know whether this interpretation is accurate.
Anyone who is interested in reviewing the chart data can access it and compare it to my interpretation. Or cast your own chart.
I believe in transparency.
Comments are welcome

Interpretation
The Sun, Mercury, Mars, Neptune, and the Midheaven are located in water signs in this nativity. This leads me to believe that s/he is a compassionate and caring person with a strong intuitive nature. S/he values personal relationships and will likely have a strong tendency to take on caretaker roles. S/he is such a sympathetic and understanding person that s/he may have a tendency to adopt the role of a mother to his/her loved ones. S/he can get involved in situations that sap vitality, overwhelm, and exhaust him or her because s/he has a strong tendency to react without first considering the probable consequences. “Look before you leap,” would be sound advice for this person to consider.
This person needs to take care of herself/himself first before losing herself/himself in caring for others. Selfishness manifests in many not so obvious ways and one of those ways involves focusing on anything and everything external to selfishly avoid dealing with one’s own issues, an often painful but necessary ordeal to heal one’s own wounds and become a solid self-confident person who is able to love others without fear of rejection or expectation of receiving some reward in return. This is a form of enabling or vampirism in which the caretaker derives his or her reason for being from disempowering another person and keeping them in a dependent state not to genuinely help them, but to disable them in service to their own need for a purpose in life. This is an easy trap for naturally inclined caretakers to fall into and they should avoid them at all costs because too many caretaker relationships will retard their own emotional growth at the expense of others in the manipulative guise of helping them and they end up resenting that person and occasionally harming them in not so obvious ways to keep them dependent. Such a relationship damages the caretaker and caretakee.
Cancer and Scorpio are strong in this natal chart. People with a strong Cancer influence in their charts tend to be nurturing, protective, tenacious, sensitive, and intuitive. People with a strong Scorpio influence tend to be intense, magnetic, secretive, and sexual with penetrating powers of perception. I expect this person demonstrates all of those qualities.
This person has very few planets in mutable signs, which means s/he resists change and has difficulty adapting to new situations.
The 1st and 8th houses are strong in this chart. The 1st House is called the House of Self where we develop our identity and personality initially through differentiation and later through personal growth. In houses 2 through 6, we grow up and become an independent person. We enter into relationships and partnerships with other people in the 7th House, and in the 8th House, which is called the house of sex, death, transformation, and other people’s money, we become obsessive, restless, and dissatisfied. We want to change and we transcend what we have become or we settle in, accept the status quo, and become Republicans. That is, we become the living dead without a vital soul. Those who choose change embark on the path with heart, which is sometimes called the path of discipleship that leads to the interest in spirituality, higher learning, philosophy, and travel that characterize the 9th House.
If we divide this person’s natal chart into four quadrants, each consisting of three houses, we find that the first quadrant predominates. This indicates a person who is independent and capable of organizing her or his life. S/he also might be self-centered. If we divide the chart in half vertically, we find that the eastern half, which is the left side of the chart containing houses 1-3 and 10-12, predominates and this indicates a self-motivated and self-oriented individual. In short, we are beginning to see some themes emerging; namely, a strong independent and caring personality who needs to watch-out for and avoid egocentric and selfish behavior.
This person was born when the Moon was full and this confirms what we already detected about this person, given the predominance of water in this chart. Persons born under a full Moon primarily tend to be interested in relationships of all kinds and I anticipate that relationships will be a prominent feature of this person’s life.
The 3rd and 4th rays are strong in this person which indicates that s/he is a clever strategist and skilled communicator with good business sense and a capacity for abstract thinking. S/he also can be spontaneous, imaginative, and conciliatory with a love of beauty, music, and the ability to reconcile opposites. Moodiness would tend to be a feature and not a bug for this person.
With the Ascendant in Libra, I expect this person’s approach to life is fair and balanced taking into consideration the thoughts and feelings of other people. I also see an interest in art, music, and all things beautiful. People with Libra rising signs tend to be so good at seeing the different sides of issues that they have trouble deciding which side to choose.
With the 4th House cusp in Capricorn, this person probably has high regard for the traditions of the family and, as an adult may become the rock upon whom family members rely for stability. This is a further indication of the inclination-to-mother theme we picked up earlier.
With the 7th House cusp in Aries, this person is likely to want to retain his or her independence within a close relationship and might feel more comfortable with an active and freedom-loving partner. Aries is a cardinal-fire sign that is naturally associated with the 1st House and Mars, its natural ruler. Aries and Mars are not well suited to relationships. With Aries on the cusp of the 7th House, this person could become aggressive if s/he feels caged in by their partner.
The Midheaven or 10th House cusp is in Cancer and Cancer is the opposite sign to Capricorn that, together with Saturn, its ruler, is naturally associated with the 10th House of Career and Reputation. Just as Mars and Aries are ill suited and uncomfortable in the 7th House, so too is Cancer and its ruler, the Moon, ill suited and uncomfortable in the 10th House. For this reason, I suspect this person needs a secure job or profession that feels like home and allows him or her to mother or take care of the emotional and/or health needs of others. A career in nursing or other position in the medical profession might be a perfect match for this person, assuming they do not succumb to caring for others to avoid caring for themselves.
The position of the Moon in a natal chart by sign and house indicates what a person needs to feel emotionally secure. This person’s Moon is in Taurus, which means this person has an emotional need for stability and steady routines. S/he does not like change and may use food to combat stress. Since the Moon is in the 8th House, I suspect this person is acutely sensitive to emotional undercurrents and both seeks and finds comfort through other people’s resources, both monetary and financial. This is another indicator of the developing theme of a selfish caretaker.
The Moon is opposed to Mercury in Scorpio in the 1st House. This suggests that this person struggles to make decisions because s/he cannot decide whether to go with their heart or mind.
The Moon also is square to Uranus which indicates that this person has a tendency to engage in erratic and stubborn behavior to stand out from the crowd, but this is a self-defeating strategy that this person needs to overcome. The best way to do that would be to use Libra’s famous on-the-one-hand-but-on-the-other change of perspective and Scorpio’s penetrating perspective to see the self-defeating strategy for what it is.
More significant is the Moon’s approaching square to Chiron, who symbolizes a deep festering psychic or spiritual wound that a person carries like a ball and chain. This approaching square suggests that this person constantly feels misunderstood, particularly by his or her mother and this person needs to let that attachment go. In fact, I believe this is a key theme in this chart. The mother is a human being. No one has a right to expect their mother to be perfect and mothers make a hell of a lot of mistakes. Some mothers don’t even love their kids and they have reasons. Mothers are human and at some point, it makes sense to let go of expectations and disappointments and see them as imperfect humans. It makes no sense to carry your mother around with you all the time as a ball and chain. Release her and the person releases himself or herself from bondage. Release himself or herself from bondage and this person has a chance to heal the wound and become whole. That sure beats trying to be a better mother to others than the mother was to this person. Living one’s life in reaction to others is hardly a prescription for a happy fulfilling life. The irony is this person cannot be a healer by trying to be a better mother, but this person can be a great healer, if s/he becomes a healer because that is who s/he is and wants to be.
This person is a magnetic, passionate, and intense individual since s/he has a Scorpio Sun. Scorpio’s always harbor secrets and I suspect this person is no different. This person’s Sun is conjunct Neptune, so I expect fantasy plays a strong part in their life, either as a creative channel or as an escape. S/he probably tends to be detached at times and seized by an urge to merge due to the Neptunian influence. S/he may be artistic or musical. People whose Sun is conjunct Neptune have a tendency to engage in addictive behavior, so this person needs to be made aware of that, if they are not yet aware of it. I’m referring to any and all types of addictive behavior, including mothering others. The Neptune conjunction fuels creativity and this is a good way to avoid escaping or falling into the trap of addictive behavior.
The Sun is conjunct Mercury in Scorpio. Mercury in Scorpio in the 1st House is an independent thinker with the ability to network information and ideas. S/he manages resources well, communicates intensely, and has a tendency to seek out the core of matters, irritably eschewing superficial knowledge.
If this person sought me out, I would want to explore with them their urge to mother in the context of the main focal point in the chart, which is the T-square formed by the Uranus opposition to Chiron, which is squared by the Moon. The Uranus-Chiron opposition indicates that the person has a strong desire to be free, and is likely to cut ties and to make sudden changes if circumstances or people stand in his or her way. This person’s strong desire to be free likely is caused by their inability to face Chiron’s deep emotional wounds. The Moon’s square to Uranus and Chiron, which I discussed earlier, indicates that the person is deeply wounded and suffering. S/he acts erratically to distract attention to his or her pain. Putting it all together, I see a person who heeds to heal the wound that is dragging them down, a wound that appears to be connected to their relationship with a mother figure . Once this person frees himself or herself from this ball and chain they have been dragging around, they have a chance for a happy and fruitful psychic and spiritual life. However, they will never escape their misery unless they heal it. If they don’t, the wound that is killing them will spread to others.
Thank you, Kelly for the opportunity to do this chart.

Mason,
Not sure you had comments on the chart in mind, but I have a few that add to but hopefully aren’t redundant.
The first house Neptune and the conjunction to the Sun is interesting because of the duality between one’s identity and the first house drive to incarnate as a distinct self, and the action of Neptune which escapes from or impels moving beyond that central point. There’s an impulse towards transcendence whether it be as an actor who enjoys taking on other identities, or spiritually to merge with something greater than oneself. The negative aspect of that drive with all the water in the chart is altering consciousness chemically. Neptune in the first can be a chameleon who picks up the vibes of whoever and whatever is around them. For that reason, it’s beneficial for anyone with a strongly Neptunian emphasis to sleep alone occasionally to clear their auric fields.
Scorpios are quick studies, and as you pointed out, are sensitive to emotional undercurrents. They have an ability to see what other people don’t want to see or to see through people, but their perceptions are often not valued given the superficiality of American culture. It can make for an outsider, accented further by the 11th house Pluto, someone who doesn’t conform to societal norms. Mercury in Scorpio could have a tendency to wound with the tongue and given the opposition to the Moon, particularly when hurt. This Mercury likes mysteries, it also likes to probe, is good at research and makes a good detective.
Saturn in the third house indicates there could have been some difficulties or obstacles with early education. With the opposition to Mars in the 9th, could need to work on being more flexible in one’s thinking or less judgmental. Or this could be describing a sibling, if there is one. In a man’s chart, conventional definitions of masculinity don’t resonate, or there could be some insecurity around that. In a woman’s chart, this would describe the kind of men she attracts. In either case, the father could be harsh or strict, but this could be mitigated by other factors. There could be conflicts with the father or authority figures.
Another interesting thing about this chart is the Moon in Taurus which is sensuous and comfortable with the body and yet there’s a square to Uranus, so that could mean that one’s sense of security and comfort is prone to disruption or change suddenly. It could be that s/he attracts people who want their space or don’t want to commit to a relationship which creates conflict and emotional turmoil. You pointed out that relationships are very important to this person. Water signs need to feel connected with people, but the square to Uranus indicates that relationships can be exciting, but lack continuity or stability. This could point to early family experience, most likely the mother, but not always. Moon square Uranus could also be some kind of disruption around fulfilling or expressing needs. With Uranus on the cusp of the 11th house, I think that working in a group or collectively can be liberating, or help draw out one’s creativity and unique talents and/or help to bring about healing. Pluto, Uranus in the 11th at its best is a person who marches to a different drummer, and is perhaps ahead of their time.
As a generational influence, this person belongs to a group that has concerns about the environment, its degradation and pollution, living in harmony with nature and being good stewards of the earth, natural methods of healing and promoting health, and service to others.
Mason, I can’t speak for anyone else, expecially not the unknown guest, buy you had mine right!
I thank you again for your reading and the time it took for you to work through it.
Mason,
Thank you so much for the interpretation you did Thursday evening. I saw it yesterday morning and it had such a strong effect on me I had to step away for a bit and get some perspective.
I’d say that for the most part it’s right on.
Yes, on deep emotional pain from a verbally abusive mother. Yes, on mathematics – I’ve got a degree in mathematics and did computer programming successfully for many years. Then had a career healing as a massage therapist for many years. Then back to legacy programming around the Y2K issues. Then probably most powerfully, teaching and helping people with healings using the power of the divine. Yes, on the strong sexuality. Yes on difficulty settling in one place and also larger than lifesize goals.
The T-square you found wasn’t the one I was aware of. That’s a new one for me.
The one I was thinking of was Pluto opposite the conjunction of Mercury and Venus all squared by the Ascendant. I’m not sure now whether you didn’t notice it or whether it’s not really a T-square. I wonder if you could comment about that.
Yes, I do like to get to the bottom of things, especially with people, and also have a very analytical mind.
The only part that doesn’t really quite fit is that I am very emotional. I am sometimes more comfortable not showing those emotions as I still haven’t really resolved as much as I’d like the vulnerability issues from my mother’s abuse. However, I’m actually very comfortable with feeling my and others’ emotions. More comfortable than if I’m not sure of people’s emotions.
Lately, I’ve been choosing to end my participation in a couple of neighborhood volunteer positions and in a particular spiritual group I’ve been with for years in favor of pursuing activities that feel more nourishing to me. The suggestions you made for resolving my brand new (to me) T-square and where my destiny lies gives me much food for thought and feel like the right direction to look to. I love healing and teaching, especially when it helps people to grow and expand.
Much love to you Mason, for taking the time with so many of our charts. I can see it’s a labor of love for you and I greatly appreciate your generosity with all of us.

The mantel of Dr. Strange-Bo is now firmly ensconced in your capable hands doremus 29. Putting aside the reality that astrology has not even come remotely close to qualifying as even a mock pseudo-science for over seven hundred (700) years, there are always those dear souls who enjoy the apparently pleasing and rewarding practice of receiving some vicarious sense of pleasure from attempting to inflict pain on an expired equine.
That being said, and unfortunately not having participated in your stellar 238 comment circle jerk, I will take a minute or two of my invaluable time away from my rigorous training with NASCAR for the first unmanned probe of Uranus, as you must have done to engage in astrological forecasting, and throw, so to speak, my hat in the ring of serious astrology debate.
I contend that there are many astrological signs all around us that most intelligent people have failed to understand or appreciate. And their ultimate meaning and implementation is critical for a truly rich life experience. Allow me to share with you the true, deeper significance of signs we see every day:
1. No Overnight Parking: Perhaps a quickie but that’s all buckaroo.
2. Dip in the Road: Caution Republican up ahead.
3. No Exit: Married with children.
4. Truck Stop: Better hit your brakes
5. Loading Zone: There really is a ‘god’.
6. Divided highway: It’s 1860 and boy is the shit really going to hit the fan now.
7. Watch for Pedestrians: Only people who walk can wear one.
8. Speed Limit 55: if you are 56 it doesn’t apply.
9. Deer Crossing: I didn’t know that there are Catholic deer, although I have known some very dear Catholic people.
10. Prepare To Stop: you aren’t even getting to first base tonight.
I just love astrology. It is so precise and let’s face it highly practical. Of course I am just pulling your digits
peony, if you care to chime in about my chart, i would love that.
oh, mason and peony, i got a notice from the library last night, that Cosmos and Psyche awaits me at my local branch.
I forwarded this by email, without any comment. I’ll supply the person’s responses later.
But this: “…which means s/he resists change and has difficulty adapting to new situations” is wildly off the mark.
“The negative aspect of that drive with all the water in the chart is altering consciousness chemically. Neptune in the first can be a chameleon who picks up the vibes of whoever and whatever is around them.”
Yes, I agree, although I think astrologers, along with most of the rest of people in this country, have freaked out about drug addiction far too long to the exclusion of considering the deleterious effects of a vast array of addictive behaviors that have nothing to do with drugs and alcohol. I never bought into the hysteria over drugs, which I always have regarded as a relatively minor problem compared to alcohol and the universe of addictive behaviors.
I look at hard Sun-Neptune aspects as an indicator of a restriction or blockage of the individual’s manifestation and expression of the Sun’s creative energy. I visualize the aspects in charts as indicators of energy flow that enters the chart through the Sun. An addiction interferes with the expression of energy by diverting it into addictive behavior that weakens the Sun’s overall expression of its creative energy. I equate Neptune’s urge to merge with a tendency to engage in addictive behaviors that distract people from dealing with their issues. They fool themselves into thinking that life is fine and they don’t have to work on their stuff because they are busy all the time. Think of a workaholic or sex addict for example. In other words, I believe self-deception due to addictive behaviors of one sort or another, including drugs and alcohol, are a huge problem. I’ve seen quite a few charts with hard Sun-Neptune aspects where there is little evidence that the individual is a drug user or heavy drinker. That’s why I use a broader concept of addiction when I do interpretations. Since I have no feedback from our Mystery Guest, I went with the broader view. However, I do agree that the prevalence of water in this chart does indicate a possible chemical dependency.
Well, I guess we won’t be seeing you for awhile. I’m still astonished at the breadth and depth of what I regard as one of the most monumental and important literary achievements I’ve ever read.
You’re in for a treat!
“The one [T-square] I was thinking of was Pluto opposite the conjunction of Mercury and Venus all squared by the Ascendant. I’m not sure now whether you didn’t notice it or whether it’s not really a T-square. I wonder if you could comment about that.”
Yes, I saw it, but did not comment because the Ascendant is a point, not a planet, and the angles between the Ascendant and the three planets Mercury, Venus, and Pluto are each greater than one degree. Since I use an orb of one degree or less with points, I didn’t mention it in your interpretation. I apologize for neglecting to discuss the Pluto opposition to your really nice Mercury-Venus conjunction.
The Mercury-Venus conjunction indicates that you express yourself in a loving manner and enjoy talking with people, who find you to be a warm and welcoming listener.
The Pluto opposition to the Mercury-Venus conjunction suggests that intense drama may play a key role in your personal relationships. You may be obsessed with the concept of love and desire and expect your loved ones to share your intensity. Your relationships probably are strewn with struggles for power and control, and possibly violence. You probably should redirect your energies into a demanding, creative pursuit.
I think I got caught up in discussing the other T-square. Chiron fascinates me, as it is conjunct my Ascendant in Scorpio.
That sounds like VERY high praise indeed.
As soon as I’ve finished Chalmers Johnson’s Dismantling the Empire, I’ll go get it.
Thanks for the update, Kelly.
I’ve got errands to run and a few chores to do, so I’ll be gone for awhile. I’ll check in when I get back.
Later,
M
Hi Mason, I see you are continuing your good work here :-) I wonder, if you have the time, if you could go back to your interpretation of my chart and maybe flesh it out a bit for an astrology dummy like me? For example, some of the interpretations you’ve given for other folks here speak more about the person and their traits based on the chart.
Really enjoying your work, and thank you!
Thanks, for your insightful comments. I agree and they certainly help to bring this person into sharper focus.
Thanks, Mason! All very interesting ~ will “stay tuned.”
Thanks again. Yes, I’m a very good listener. And yes, ouch, there’s been way too much high drama.
I didn’t know anything about Chiron before starting to read your interpretations here at the Lake. Is there a good place to learn more?
Mason, the word “chemically” was a poor choice and I had all substances in mind not just drugs. Also, not all drugs can be lumped into the same category, and altering consciousness, particularly with psychedelics or mj is something I regard in a positive light, if it’s done with intention and purpose. The point I was trying to make is that an unexpressed or blocked spiritual impulse often manifests as seeking spirit in ways that are destructive rather than serving to advance awakening. But I think of drug or alcohol addiction as a subverted spiritual drive.
I wouldn’t bring this up under these circumstances with the mystery guest, but I also was thinking of Sun Neptune that in some cases could indicate a weak ego structure that can be susceptible to intrusions, if you know what I mean. It does make a person’s consciousness more porous to the influx of unconscious forces, which is not a commonly known aspect of substance related addictions. But as I mentioned in an earlier thread, one cannot determine a subject’s level of consciousness and evolution from a chart, so a sense of that needs to be determined for guiding one’s interpretation.
An interesting thing about Sun Neptune aspects is that I’ve noticed they are predominant in the charts of Western composers. So, maybe the blockage of the Sun’s creative energies manifests in other areas of a person’s life, but creative people do just fine with the hard aspects.
Thanks for your comments and for the discussion. Thinking of your Saturn Pluto on the MC, I suspect you have an eye for “shadow” and have probed deeply into the human psyche in search of knowledge and understanding, even the dark places where most people don’t want to go. I think I could tell you things that would scare most people, but not you.
hi greenwarrior,
Since you have given me permission, I will do that and hopefully have something useful to convey!
greenwarrior, I left a message for you downstairs @ 12:01 p.m. For some reason, there was no “reply” below your post so I responded a little further down.
Where did you leave a message? Downstairs where? On what thread? I don’t see anything on this thread or on Mason’s original thread.
Did you mean the message you left here on this thread at 2:01pm?
Peony, I can tell from your comments that you have an extremely deep, thorough, intuitive, and loving understanding of Astrology that surpasses my own. As knowbuddhahow is fond of saying,
“I bow in your virtual direction.”
Fom my heart to yours,
Thanks for your contributions
Namaste,
M
I feel like we’re caught in a time warp playing, “Ive got a secret.”
Well, I fear that we are about to roll off the conveyor belt, since this piece was not front-paged. I’m not complaining and saying it should have been, although I would have preferred having it front-paged, if for no other reason than to resolve Kelly Canfield’s challenge in a public and transparent way.
Obviously, a much more important matter is occupying our attention today, which is as it should be. For those who want to continue to monitor this diary for Kelly’s response, you can save the url, or click on my name and go to my page on MyFDL. Then click on My Diaries and you will arrive at this diary as well as the previous longer one.
My heart goes out to Congresswoman Gifford’s family and friends and the families and friends of all of the victims. At this point, I think 6 or 7 are confirmed dead, including a young child. I’ve been out all day and missed most of the news. I don’t know if there will be or are any survivors.
This incident sickens me and I fear there will be more bloodshed before this thing is done.
Say a prayer for us all tonight.
M
greenwarrior,
Sorry for the confusion. The message is here on this thread @ 2:01 p.m. as follows:
“Since you have given me permission, I will do that and hopefully have something useful to convey!”
Mason, I don’t know about that. What I do know is that it’s been a great pleasure talking to you, a kindred spirit.
Thank you for all your insights and generosity.
I thought you might be interested, if you haven’t seen it already, that Rick has written new material since the publication of Cosmos and Psyche which can be viewed at the Archai website. It’s contained in the site’s new journal or book “Cultural Crisis and Transformation” and Rick’s section from the book can be read for free online. You can find it at this link:

Namaste
I’m very pleased that you’ll comment and glad we got the confusion cleared up. I’ll look forward to your contribution when you get to it. I’ll check back.
The candidate for this chart is my partner “belch.” I copied and pasted the post in an email to him and wrote “on a scale of 1 – 10, how accurate of a description of you is this?”
He wrote back “3. 4 on a good day.”
I asked him about it this morning, and we talked about 15 minutes about this chart.
Sympathetic, understanding, cares about people, magnetic, sexy, “always knows when it’s a full moon” (his words); he agreed with all that. (Why wouldn’t he?)
His major objection was “resists change and has difficulty adapting to new situations. ”
He was the guy in his old retail life to make new/refresh the materials, including remodeling the stores. Also, later in his retail career, he was the guy the company chose to set up textile manufacturing deals in China. He just loves new stuff and considers himself a “changemeister” to which I can attest. My kitchen cabinet contents dance around about every 6 months, which irritates ME!
He found conflict, which I didn’t pick up on at first, in the statements “look before you leap” and the subsequent “doesn’t like change.” “Which one is it supposed to be?” he asked me.
On the “strict father” thing, he said “Duh. Nebraska 1960s. What dads weren’t strict?”
“This suggests that this person struggles to make decisions because s/he cannot decide whether to go with their heart or mind.”
Belch called that out, directly. He said “You know, it’s only a decision I have to make when there’s a heart/head thing. Isn’t that the same for everybody?”
If you want more, I’ll ask him. But “3. 4 on a good day” doesn’t suggest to me that on a blind knowledge based test that astrology is any better than dice rolling, or divining by sacrificial animal entrails.
Your selection of your dead sister was devious, dishonest, and manipulative. Your subsequent selection of your partner, with whom you are involved in relationship, shows poor judgment and controlling behavior on your part because it compromised the possibility of objectivity. You could not relinquish control over the outcome. Your characterization of the interpretation as no better than dice rolling, or divining by sacrificial animal entrails was an uncalled for child-like effort to wound that says everything about you and nothing about me and even though you wasted my time, I forgive you.
I recommend that you give some consideration in the future to behaving in a manner that is consistent with the Golden Rule. I’m disappointed in you Kelly, you’re better than this.
“Do not do to others what you would not want them to do to you.”
I’m going to try, but I’m not sure when because I’m following and writing about the Loughner case. Will do my best to do as you ask.
It is you who made the claim that “astrology works” not I.
To blame your astrological chart’s failure on me is ridiculous. You made it. Didn’t work out to be right.
I completely disclosed, where I didn’t have to, to meet your modifications to my challenge. That was only fair;
I briefly considered twins, and looked some up. There are many very different fraternal twins life outcomes; would you have called that unfair too?
It was a challenge after all, not a request. So from “thank you for the challenge” to “waste of my time” rings a bit hollow to me.
And frankly, your exuberant “powerful forces today!” post on the 4th, completely missed what happened on the 8th. Your divination schemes are either consistent and workable, or they’re not.
Failing a challenge is painful, which I understand. But your astrological divination system failed, not anything I ever said or presented.
“…And frankly, your exuberant “powerful forces today!” post on the 4th, completely missed what happened on the 8th.”
Actually, this is a misunderstanding. The world is a mixture of beauty and horror. Likewise, at any given moment, there are multiple planetary alignments that reflect that duality. Mason’s diary wasn’t about the whole panoply of phenomena, only one of them.
As an example, Gabrielle Giffords and others were shot and some killed. Someone else had a spiritual epiphany, drove across the country and had a joyous reunion with friends in Arizona. Even in the shooting, Patricia Maisch grabbed the gun just as Loughner was reloading a second magazine with 30 rounds, which probably saved a bunch of people’s lives. Different planetary alignments apply to these two strikingly different events. Had Mason set out in his diary to discuss all the operative planetary alignments, then you would have a point, but that’s not what happened.
This would be like telling a doctor medicine doesn’t work because you got good news that your blood test came back negative for diabetes, but the blood test didn’t reveal you have a herniated disc.
