adam in oregon commented on the blog post Saudis Explicitly Warned U.S. Intelligence Agencies About Tamerlan Tsarnaev
Think how fast the FBI would have done something if they were warned he was a peace activist. Or someone about to protest the banks. They would have had him under constant surveillance.

adam in oregon commented on the diary post Breaking: Obama Justice Department serves Oregon officials with warrant seeking the identities of the state’s medical cannabis patients by acmerecords.
This is why many did not participate in the medical side of things. You get your name on the list, and now the feds can come after you. I saw it coming. Of course this is a huge waste of time and money, but the feds don’t care. They have solved all the murders and [...]

adam in oregon commented on the blog post Obama Budget Splits The Democratic Party
It is pretty funny. Those of us on the left left told you what Obama would do, but no one would listen. People were taken in by the phony promise of the second term. Obama would be able to do progressive things, even though he never has, nor stated he would. Now you reap what you sew. Green Party 2016. No more sell out Democrats.

adam in oregon commented on the diary post NATO 3: Chicago Judge Rules Illinois Terrorism Statute Constitutional by Steve Horn.
So now protesting is terrorism? What a sad day for this country. Time for a reboot.

adam in oregon commented on the blog post Holder: Feds Will Decide on State Marijuana Legalization “Soon”
Sounds like he is going to use the ol’ international treaty nonsense to keep busting people. Since when did America care about treaties it has signed? Geneva conventions anyone? He’ll come out and say, we would really, really like to let you smoke weed, but we can’t because the UN would get mad at us. So sorry. Maybe if the world says you can, then we’ll think about it. Get ready for the excuses.

adam in oregon commented on the diary post The Day That NPR Lost Me by Quasit.
NPR is government run radio. Do you expect them to tell you the government is doing something illegal or wrong? Do you think the NPR sponsors like Exxon, or Monsanto really want you to know what they are up to? NPR is much like the democratic party. It is there to fool you in to [...]

adam in oregon commented on the diary post Rachel Maddow: Iraq WMD Fraud Exposé Will Cause “Political Upset” by amerigus.
While I agree this story needs to be told, it isn’t really anything new. Even 10 years ago people were calling out the MSM for being a mouthpiece for the Bush administration. Even MSNBC did nothing to go against the tides of war at the time. Going along with embedded reporters and letting the administration [...]

adam in oregon commented on the diary post Which Party, Democrat or Republican, will be the next Whigs? Or will both fall into History’s Big Dumpster? by Bill Perdue.
They should both be thrown in the garbage. Both are corrupt beyond saving. We should vote for a person, not a party. Parties exist to rake in lobbyist and campaign money so they can launder it to the politicians they support. They ARE the problem.

adam in oregon commented on the blog post What Marijuana Legalization Will Actually Be Like in Washington State
Not in Washington. It will still be illegal.

adam in oregon commented on the blog post The Most Important Vote in America – Ending the Tax Revolt in California
Nobody in Cali is going to vote to raise the taxes. Well, of course some will. Cali is so poorly managed it is a joke. The state reps there never balance a budget on time, and only have once, when their paychecks were withheld because they just couldn’t do their constitutional duty.
When you combine the income tax and ridiculous sales tax, (over nine percent in some places) cali residents pay plenty. It was one of the reasons I got out of there.
The state was going to close a bunch of parks and what do you know, they ‘found’ 54 million they forgot they had for 15 years.
They are the world’s 8th largest economy. They get plenty of money. They just can’t spend it right. No to new taxes. Yes on 37! -
adam in oregon commented on the diary post Does Voting Third Party Really Endanger Scotus ? by freeman.
The thing about the supreme court is it takes congress to approve whoever it is going to be. So you get the typical politician type jurist. No real right winger nazi/left winger anarchist will get through, regardless of who is president. I personally can’t name one person who I think is qualified, or who should [...]

adam in oregon commented on the blog post Oliver Stone’s ‘Untold History of the United States’ Challenges Americans’ Ignorance of History
Anyone here ever watch Jaywalk on the tonight show? That is the average person in this country when it comes to history. Sad and scary.

adam in oregon commented on the blog post Who Bombed Judi Bari? $50,000 Reward for Answers
C’mon, we all know it was the FBI. Why do you think they agreed to give Cherney and her millions of dollars?

adam in oregon commented on the diary post A tale of two universes: debating on dailykos.com by cassiodorus.
I gave up DailyKos a couple years ago when I realized they were a mouthpiece for the democratic party. And Kos was an ‘intern’ at the CIA. They are not in favor of free speech over there and will kick you off the board if you let them know you aren’t a party first democrat.

How many thousands of voters did Kathleen Harris remove illegally? It had nothing to do with Nader.

adam in oregon commented on the blog post Bush Administration Ignored Multiple Warnings of 9-11, Claimed Bin Laden Attack Fake Cover for Saddam
If they would have done something about all these warnings, how would they get the new Pearl Harbor they needed to justify trying to conquer the middle east? Lucky coincidence that the hijackers took over those planes on the very day NORAD was doing drills with fake radar blips of planes hitting buildings. Lucky for them that Sibel Edmonds was taken off the case. Lucky for them they got training at a naval air base. I guess Bush/Cheney should have just paid a little more attention. Or maybe they already were.

adam in oregon commented on the blog post Chicago Teacher on Why He’s Striking Against Rahm Emanuel’s Pro-Business Education Agenda
I don’t know what people expected when they elected Rahm. He is a corporatist tool, and always has been. Why in the world anyone thought he was going to work for anyone but the 1% is quite a mystery. You reap what you sow.

adam in oregon commented on the blog post VP Condi?
It would be hilarious for Obama to claim that Rice would put Romney in the postition of bringing back Bush’s policies. Obama never stopped any of Bush’s policies. We can’t go back to them because we are already there.
