In Ace’s world, “student at Georgetown Law” = “shiftless.”

The misogyny is strong in that one.

“As a relative of union members, please help me kill hard-won gains by their fellow members, and help ensure increasing economic insecurity for them.”

    What a rotten person.

Making comments about the appearance and styling of a public figure because you disagree with her politics is both sexist and awesome. We can do better.

In what world is punditry (i.e., writing two columns per week repeating the same basic points, adapted to the news of the day, perhaps going on TV ocassionally, repeating the same basic points, adapted to the news of the day) a difficult job to be balanced with fatherhood?

  • Dear Andy, you a-hole, please send crazies to primary the following Republican senators:

    Scott Brown
    Snowe
    Collins (ME)
    Toomey

They have not stodd up and spoken out when people suggested that inflammatory eliminationist rhetoric may drive people over the edge.

“How is a 19-year-old girl — when your father is either potentially running for president or from her perspective, God forbid gets elected president — how she going to know if some guy likes her?”

Yes, how indeed will an adult woman make judgments about potential suitors? How indeed. Such terrible challenges, overcome only by such superheroes as Chelsea Clinton, Amy Carter, and Jenna Bush.

Heck, she’ll probably know that the boys likes her because he asks permission to hold her hand at one of those no-touch conservative colleges they attend.

May I just add that, in certain European countries, they have PR and sometimes the Greens win enough seats to be pivotal in forming a coalition government?

We don`t live there either. We have majoritarian first-past-the-post elections that have HUGE incentives generating a two-party-system. There are two options in your district/state/country: you win or you lose.

And no, change is not coming soon, given the incentives for the status quo players.
