As a teacher for over 30 years I think the idea is nuts. I worked with plenty of mentally unstable teachers and I have had to deal with some totally obnoxious teenagers who I could have shot in a minute…….the only thing I am surprised at is that these school shootings haven’t yet been carried out by some teacher out of frustration with the system, or administrators, or asshole students.
