You are so wrong. That district was actually created after the 2000 census as a solid Republican seat. Even prior to that only 3 Dems have won since 1860! Jack Davis the “Tea Party” candidate has run as a DEMOCRAT 3 times prior to this election. He was never viewed as the other conservative. Furthermore, he only won 9% of the total vote. If he had gotten at least a double digit showing the crybaby GOP would have more of an argument. The fact is Corwin lost because of one thing she stated she supported: the Paul Ryan “kill Medicare” plan.
