Thank you, puravida, touchingly well said. Lived there for 11 delightfully exciting and rigorous years.
And you, Mr. TBogg, you know how dangerous these adorable pictures are. *splat*

I and several cousins of mine seem to be 37, but that’s for another day.
Love to you on your birthday, precious woman!

I’m in. I will swear that I need a machine gun on my roof. I want one given the history here, but Mr. Annie says we’re OK (I think he’s not just happy to see me, if you know what I mean.)

35 years ago, an armed robbery happened my family. My brother and uncle testified at the trial of the robbers despite hits being taken out on their lives. They ‘disappeared’ before testifying for several months after living under armed guard.
I live on that property now and have an alarm system, 3 horses, 250 chickens, my great-grandfather’s gorgeous barn, and one old pistol for just-in-case to protect the animals, all of them that always live on large property.
She’s nuts.

Amongst these brilliant comments which I need to read and digest, yours is a nugget to which I must respond: he’s his own guy and has been for many years. I feel so fortunate that he chose to come back here; I named him after the prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald whom I admired, as I had lived in Boston/Cambridge for 11 years. I lost my dearest cat when I was feeding him; she was a dropoff and an abused kitty, but lovingly mine for 15 years. I admire your devotion and share it in many ways.

Hehahaha. This is almost as good as the black-and-white abandoned cat that’d been fed here for 6 1/2 years that turned up again after a year absence after Hurricane Irene: almost.

Some time when I think that the world has gone mad and my roof has blown off, I happen to hear some of Chopin’s piano sonatas and perchance read here. Ahhhhh; there are times when it doesn’t suck.

As during national elections, the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is a time of becoming Buddhist, lighting candles and chanting calming syllables; I refuse to yell at children on the lawn, divest as it will be of seasonal celebration. I pray mightily that I won’t destroy, in a fit of disgust, any of the currently working electronics that happen to reside here, as the process of replacing them is an incalulable risk to my spiritual harmony. Ohhhmmmmmmmm.

I have 3 horses, one (albeit French) bayonet, and I plan on Drumthwacking Gov. Christie if Obama doesn’t win this damn thing! Have the 2 extra mounts; bring your own bayonets, please.

Lights and heat just on, and here I am. Christie is a swing-high blubber vote, and the destruction of my roof and the barn door meant that no horses (3) got out. My sister -in-law is still bitch, but after the black eye that I gave her not long ago, I’m not expecting affection. Survival.

My response to Sandra Fluke is this: give her fistful of cash, then sit her down to a rockin’ dinner of my stuffed shells with homemade sauce and asparagus salad; bread from a great baker friend of mine, then talk and encourage. Love her.

Also, he was Rove’s pick for USAtt., for what that’s worth, which he left saying that he would never even think of running for governor, it was the right thing to do. ???? So Palinesque.

Living in the great State of Garden, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry, and I seem to be doing both. Amazing, T. I should point out that Gov. Postcardforbullies has had mob connections through ‘family’, not blood, from whom he ‘learned a lot.’ Uh-huh.

“It seems to me this man lacks information, knowlege, vision and understanding of this region and its people…” Saeb Erekrak. Dan Senor aka Mitt Romney lacks the same for the US, unfortunately: asshats cut from the same hat.
