    Actually Sarah Palin did considerably more damage. By bringing Christine ODonnell to life, she gave the national media a “target”. Prior to, it was tougher to personify the Tea Party.
    There were apparently more national media stories re: the wacko ODonnell, than any other GOP candidate. The new age of instant info, voters got the quick big-picture.
    My opinion is that had Palin passed on ODonnell, both Wash State and CO would be electing GOP senators this week; the margins are that razor thin.
