Obama made it clear even before he took office that he was not to be trusted. He had promised to vote against the effort to extend surveillance powers under an amendment to FISA. He reversed himself by voting for it. And we all know he has gone light years beyond Bush/Cheney in all respects related to the so-called war on terror.
It is absurd, after being a lifelong Democrat, to find myself hoping the Republicans kill his effort to cut back Social Security benefits. I’m about due to receive them and am outraged that what I have paid into the “trust fund” has now become part of the overall budget.
Obama is the best example of a lying president I have seen in my lifetime. He makes Nixon look like a petty thief.
