when someone walks into a school and kills a bunch of kids, most politicians utter platitudes then continue to take marching orders from the NRA. I hope that the killing of their own will make some politicians wake up to the fact that assault weapons do not make us safer, and owning them is not a right guaranteed by a few words written by musket-owners.
