My pride at this great moment in the history of American equality has made me completely forget how upset I was an hour ago over the rumor that Obama was going to cut Social Security in exchange for literally nothing.

There is literally nothing Obama could do to cost himself the vote of the party loyalists. He could nuke Iran, call for a right-to-life amendment to the Constitution, and order Muslims rounded up into prison camps and the apologists would just keep saying it’s 11-dimensional chess.

Until you realize that Obama is, far from being an affront to the values of the Democratic Party, the perfect embodiment of them, you have yet to reach enlightenment.

History will also record that as crowds danced in the street outside Stonewall, Barack Obama maintained his public opposition to same-sex marriage.

And unlike the president’s apologists, history will not grade him on a curve.

Hail Caesar, I guess.

So I voted for Cynthia McKinney. And sure enough…

The biggest regret of my political life – and I voted for Perot, so that’s saying something – is not having gone through and voted for McKinney as I had intended to.

My only consolation is that Bush III didn’t get any electoral votes from my state.

I wonder how they would feel if our current President was John McCain and he was doing the exact same thing?

That’s easy. They’d be (rightly) screaming for his impeachment for a knowing violation of the War Powers Act.

But as was already mentioned: Democrats are hypocrites.

Maliki better knuckle under soon and “ask” us to stay, or he may meet with an unfortunate accident.

I’ll say this… If he can get himself re-elected with those kinds of unemployment numbers, he’ll deserve another 4 years as Emperor.

I’m surprised that Obama hasn’t already capitalized on his Codpiece Moment to slip some US ground troops into his Libyan quagmire. If he had done it yesterday, who would even have noticed?

He’ll never have a better opportunity. Haven’t we just proved that our military can accomplish anything it sets out to?

Obama must certainly be pleased that not a word will be heard today about the botched assassination attempt on Gaddafi that took out his grandchildren.

Remember the newly installed Obama threatening Democratic legislators that they would be dead to him if they didn’t support his warmongering?

The chain will get yanked on this right quick. And Barney Frank can treat us to an explanation of how he “expressed himself poorly”.
