The only fund the 14 Senate exiles can legally use for expenses (hotels, meals,) is the Wisconsin State Senate Democratic Committee. http://www.ssdc-wi.org/SSDC/Home.html

What is OFA, and why should they be involved? These recalls are happening on the ground, run by folks in the respective Senate Districts.

Call Dane County District Attorney’s Office in the morning, ask that DA Izzy Ozzanne indict Hebsch for the ongoing crime of illegally blocking access to the building.

Wisconsin was the leading hemp producer in the 1920s and 1930s, and the only producer in the 1950s.
We’d lead again, at least in the early going, as our existing paper mills are ready for retrofit to hemp blends, much quicker than building new factories for other hemp products from scratch.

This is all about hoding down the number of folks in the building when Walker gives his speech on the regular 2 year budget, Tuesday afternoon.all indications are it’ll be more painful than the heretofore patch on the current budget.

No-one will be losing loans, because there will be no felony charges unless someone is foolish enough to insist.
The Dane County District Attorney owes the Governor NOTHING, and will not jeopardize election to his own term by carrying the Walker’s water.

Lay off the paranoia guys, there’s only 1 bad actor among the commanding officers of the lead police agencies (Walker’s appointee at the State Patrol) on scene, and he will not be calling the shots.
Keep it all smiley, not so much for legal reasons, but optics.

Certainly no bail needed for in-state folks, likely the Sheriff will take a catch and release approach to all.

As a Candidate, Scott Walker claimed to be a frugal brown bag lunch guy. Now, as Governor, he wants the fine dining, but can’t get served.

benmasel commented on the blog post Capitol Police: We’re Closing the Building Sunday at 4pm
The legislature did not ACTUALLY order a 4:00 eviction. Rather, the Capitol Chief was given the power to issue such an order. He declined, instead settling for incremental measures aimed at lowering, but not ending our presence. We walk back in every morning, resume. Sleeping under the dome’s cool as hell, but it’s a tactic, not the end goal.

benmasel commented on the blog post Capitol Police: We’re Closing the Building Sunday at 4pm
I’m thinking the Capitol Police are ultimately helping by easing us out of the building incrementally, rather than let the Governor issue an order to force us out, which he could spin as a political victory. There ARE objective public health issues involved in this many people living in a confined space indefinitely.
We do need an exit strategy. If it evolves to all day presence, that works for me. WE TOOK THE FUCKING CAPIITOL, something no-one else in this country has pulled of in 25 years. (Since the last occupation of the very same building.) Who’s next?
