Thank you for reposting that call for assistance- TransCanada’s machinery has backed off for the nonce, but they’ve been playing chicken with the protestors for days now. It seems clear to me that the executives have decided to aggressively push, hoping to force us to backdown.

We’ve become facebook friends, exchanged numbers & emails, extended couch-surfing rights, etc. It was an intense bonding experience, as you might imagine.

I’m hoping that the land grab aspect will bring in communities that may not normally get involved in these forms of protest. Perhaps the same forces that derailed Gov Goodhair’s super freeway can be marshaled against this pipeline.
