I’m dismayed that so many of my right-wing acquaintances think they can actually win with either Perry or Cain. They insist it will be a landslide for their candidate and a humiliation for the Democrats.

Well, remember. Right-wing bloggers and pundits were predicting a McCain-Palin win in November ’08, when it was clear to the rest of the planet that Obama would win.

I wish he was going down because of his position on SS, but I think he’s going down because of vaccines and Immigrants in schools.

I think mostly immigration. The vaccines thing hurt him, but nothing riles the rubes more than extending basic human dignity to the Mex’cans.
