bluestorm commented on the diary post Fukushima Two Years Later: Many Questions, One Clear Answer by Gregg Levine.
Thanks for you post. Here is great link with expert critical analyis by Arnie Gunderson at http://www.fairewinds.com/. Washington’s Blog reports there are still massive leaks of radioactivity going into the ocean: http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2013/04/is-fukushima-leaking-or-is-the-the-reactor-wholly-uncontained.html It sounds crazy but I think it’s been reported that our radioactivity monitoring stations are not tracking on the west coast. bluestorm commented on the blog post The Obama Administration’s Reluctance to Say Drone Strikes on US Soil Against US Citizens Are Illegal
I deeply appreciate Sen. Wyden’s efforts to hold the White House accountable on the issue of drones and US Citizens. Rand Paul is also correct on this one.
Obama and Holder are beyond the pale. -
bluestorm commented on the blog post FBI Report Mentions Plot To Kill Occupy Protesters
Thanks for this critically important reporting. See this great analyis at Naked Capitalism by Yves Smith, cross posted at the Guardian.
http://www.nakedcapitalism.com/2012/12/banks-deeply-involved-in-fbi-coordinated-suppression-of-terrorist-occupy-wall-street.htmlNaomi Wolf is certainly vindicated, as she was prescient in understanding that there was coordination of the suppression and now we see that the Federal Reserve and too-big to fail banks were also monitoring and sharing information with the FBI. State and corporate suppression of civil rights, nearly classical definition of fascism.
As noted in the NC article, Homeland Security should be more concerned about the assassination threats against US citizens, than civil disobedience as an expression of our natural and civil rights. -
bluestorm commented on the diary post The Cost of Erasing Dissent (#Chalkupy Austin) by hprocknow.
THanks Hiliary and well done. I walked with my father and mother in anti-war demonstrations as a child and it deeply informed me about citizenship, civil rights and democracy. What a strange moment in our history– chalk drawings are prohibited now? Thanks again.

bluestorm commented on the blog post Come Saturday Morning: Governor Grownup versus the Sex-Crazed Toddlers
Dayton is walking in integrity and courage. He has really found his place as Governor , after his time in the Senate. This is what a real Democrat looks and acts like–standing strong for the working people. Not many left though.
He has shown real courage and strength. I am very impressed. -
bluestorm commented on the blog post Come Saturday Morning: Governor Grownup Shows Us How It’s Done
He has a big heart and yes, seems like he has the guts too. We need his compassion and courage now more than ever.

bluestorm commented on the blog post Come Saturday Morning: After Years of Disinterest, Pawlenty Suddenly Wants to be Governor Again
Write on! Tim Pawlenty & Norm Coleman- Minnesota’s most vlle, heartless, cynical rethug pawns. They seem to enoy their cold-heartedness, TP cutting MN care for those who need it most; both proud of their corruption and cruelty.
