I hear all you posters complaining about Obama and the democrats lack of progressiveness.
How many of you have gotten off you butts and got in the streets demanding change?
Obama is the President, not the leader of a movement. If we want Obama and the democrats to start acting like democrats, them it is up to us to make it happen. When we get out in the streets and start demanding single payer, fair taxation and fair distribution of wealth, then we will give them the political cover to do so.
Just sitting around and complaining about what they are not doing is not going to fix this problem. We have to push them to do the right thing. Then we have to get off our butts and start registering voters and vote the sorry republicans out of office. You think Obama is bad, just be happy with what you get if the republicans get the white house, congress and the senate again.

The reason republicans have no good candidate is that they have no message. They are out of ideas that really work. Most American people have caught on to the fraud that they are. The real fireworks would come from a democratic challenge to Obama. Obama is so far to the right, a strong challenge from the left could spell doom for him. Populism is the new conservatism and the first party to grab hold will win the votes of the people for the next forty years.
