Bustednuckles commented on the blog post GOP Would Receive Only Slightly More Blame if Sequester Happens

    2013-02-26 14:11:28View | Delete

I think people are missing the real point here and that is that this has taken TWO YEARS of childish squabbling to get here.

You would think a large group of adults would be able to negotiate their budget differences in that span of time but apparently we are dealing with spoiled children. Also what is not being spotlighted in this scare campaign is that things like billion dollar subsidies to large oil companies are not even mentioned nor the fact that many large , very profitable companies who do not pay one thin dime of taxes actually receive millions of dollars in tax refunds!
You betcha, call me when these idiots get serious about a budget.

Bustednuckles commented on the blog post White House Tasks Itself With Controlling Speech On The Internet

    2013-02-18 12:31:53View | Delete

The government is working from within to label people who speak their minds and express thoughts that do not jibe with the official theme already.
Being classified as a potential domestic terrorist for speaking up for gun rights, disagreeing with Obama’s policy’s, supporting the constitution are now grounds for having all kinds of government agencies start monitoring your web presence.

I can tell you with absolute certainty that government agencies troll the web looking for dissenters.
All I have to do is look at the sitemeter at my blog.

    Thank you, so much Suzanne.

It’s been a long time since I have posted anything at the lake. I just wanted to point out the process that we are seeing. It doesn’t matter what the subject is, they use the same M.O..

    Thank you also Richard.

Bustednuckles wrote a new diary post: A Different Perspective On The Gun Control Debate

    2013-01-10 03:06:05View | Delete

I’m not here to talk about the pro’s and con’s of guns or whether or not you or I like them. This is about the debate itsself and how our government is dealing with the problem by using a completely fictitious scenario for a comparison. So, I want to try putting this into a different [...]

Bustednuckles commented on the blog post Support for Stricter Gun Laws Surges After Newtown Shooting

    2012-12-28 13:02:29View | Delete

Yes, the violent murder of innocent children sickens me, any senseless death is reprehensible but the fact is that there are already more guns than people in this country. You can try and legislate behavior modification until the cows come home because that is what this boils down to but there will be another slaughter anyway someday.
But hey, if it makes you feel any safer, ban away. It works so well, as the War on drugs has shown us.

Bustednuckles commented on the blog post Newt’s major turnaround: he accepts the ‘reality’ of marriage equality

    2012-12-20 13:49:01View | Delete

Someone needs to point out the painfully obvious to everyone else fact to Newt, he is irrelevant.

    2012-12-19 12:26:25View | Delete

So,I guess in the face of tyranny you can run around waving your purple finger yelling ” But I voted!”. Notice how well that is working in places like Egypt. Once again the typical knee jerk reaction is to run out and “ban” this or that and completely ignore the issue that most of these [...]

Bustednuckles commented on the blog post Boehner Threatens No Votes on Senate Bills if Democrats Push Through Filibuster Reform

    2012-11-30 11:27:45View | Delete

“John Boehner, who is not now nor has ever been a Senator, has…”

Something in common with Grover Norquist then.

An abnormal amount of influence for someone who is not a member of the Senate.

Got married to a conservative right wing low information voting teabagger that I have known for thirty years a year ago August.

She takes good care of my ornery ass and she is a keeper, except for that political stuff.
    LMAO!

Her name is Debby and Suzanne has met her.
She is a good woman and obviously has the patience of a saint.

    Take care now.
