carleton commented on the blog post Here you go: LGBT rights advances under President Obama that President Romney could undo
Good info, phoenix woman. I can’t believe the posters that are desperatly trying to make the case that Romney is not that much worse on LGBT issues. Read the gay press. They know.

Do you then support de-funding planned parenthood since that is a big difference to many women?

carleton commented on the diary post Dennis Kucinich is about to lose his seat to Marcy Kaptur by jest.
The fact that Kucinich wasn’t pure enough to appeal to the posters on FDL speaks volumes.

We were beaten so badly by Reagan that we never recovered.

Bain Capital is better than “O”. Isn’t that the mantra here? Buddy Roemer sure got a lot of votes last night.

Pollution and global warming will eliminate us. Libertarians trust the goodness of the corporations to provide clean air and water. What a disaster in the making!!!

Reaganomics brought us to where we are now. He was a union busting rich man’s president. Don’t buy the St. Ronnie myth.

Yep, burn up your union cards which you are lucky to have in today’s economy and help the 1% destroy the unions.

Some of us will never gat aboard with the tea party’s anti-immigrant rage. It may have been co-opted but its roots are steeped in hatred. I will stand with the unions and not the tea party. If OWS needs to build a coalition, it won’t be with the tea party.

carleton commented on the blog post Obama, Romney Neck and Neck in Key Swing States
That is the standard response. Bring up one thing negative about Obama on abortion and nothing about his staunchly anti-woman republican opponents. There are way too many republicans here. I guess they can hide in the midst of all the anti-Obama rhetoric. Not a blog for a member of Planned Parenthood or NARAL.

carleton commented on the blog post Obama, Romney Neck and Neck in Key Swing States
No one here seems to care about abortion rights or even the right to birth control. Romney was for the “personhood” amendment in Mississippi.

Like Alito isn’t to the right of Sotomayor. They all said Bush and Gore were the same, too.
