We have trips planned to see all aging parents (let’s see: 92, 90, 87) this summer. Some are fine, others totally lost all memory and social skills. BUT my big news is that we have tickets to see Shakespeare at the Globe in London, in September. “A Midsummer’s night Dream.”

I’m going to work in the basement every rainy moment, and when its not, weed the front beds. And we are going to PA to visit our parents on June 14 weekend. I will be 61 June 10th, and we might go out to eat.

Oh no, not at all. Well, maybe more cleaning. We’ve lived in this house for 30 years. I’m really trying to get rid of things that I saved for our children, and they don’t need now. Plus all the sport items … lots of them.

We had our attic space insulated — electric usage reduced by 75%. Amazing. Those little heaters I loved, on wheels, we didn’t use this year.

We are making a huge investment with replacing the heater and adding air conditioning to the whole house. But, we have to do it or we will never be able to sell.

Not tonight! Remember last year when we had a mini that took down my tree that crushed MsCE’s car? We are on the alert!! MrCE and I spent 3 hours in the basement clearing toys and furniture away. The electrician will be here soon to replace the fuse box and put in a line for air conditioning. Yea us!

My co-worker has a mother in hospital with a bad wound. They are treating it with raw honey. Our botanical garden has great books about honey and its medicinal uses.
