Great show and a great clip. Fernwood Tonight was the American version of SCTV in a way. Very raw and way ahead of it’s time. I used to watch it with my dad and we’d laugh and laugh. I think this clip may have legitimized my love of Tom Waits for my father.
Oh, and both Willard and Martin Mull are Cleveland boys. There’s a funny gene that runs deep in this part of the woods.
