When I made the mistake of not trusting the shorter and followed the link through to this idiot’s column, it was running an ad for a Ronald Reagan t-shirt with that moronic quote about the only people being for abortion are the ones who have already been born. If only all the unborn people being against abortion would take a cue from us stinking liberals and unionize, they might weild enough power to drag us back into the 19th century, when everything was unicorns and rainbows. No more of these uppity women being allowed to do stuff like vote and decide when and if they give birth.

Oh, heaven forbid other cultures have the nerve to celebrate their own holidays at the same time as Christmas, the most important holiday ever. Between Megan McArdle telling me what I should buy my loved ones and Ross Douthat lamenting others not celebrating the way he thinks they should, I just don’t know what to do anymore. It’s too late this year, but maybe they could partner up and enlighten us all as to how we are to behave in time for next year. I wouldn’t want any family to go on celebrating – or not – in any way that might suit them personally, lest they risk the disapproval of underqualified, overly self-satisfied East Coast pundits.
