Plainly Arlene’s ignorance of things automotive (and thereby other manly attributes) is demonstrated by her citing the operation, care, and feeding of a vintage Jag as a “beta” pursuit – anyone remotely familiar with that particular vehicular beast knows that its idiosyncratic, even pernicious, nature is enough to drive the strongest of men to tears. Not a car for the weak…especially since in order to have one to actually drive, one must have sufficient funds for at least 2 since one will always be down for maintenance…
