coloradoblue commented on the blog post Obama On The Verge Of Supporting End Of 4th Amendment On The Internet
A “If so inclined” addition to the oath of office doesn’t come anywhere near enough to the disaster that is our political class. It should be “I solemnly swear…JUST KIDDING!”
Bush was too stupid to know he was a disaster. What’s Barry’s excuse?

coloradoblue commented on the blog post Politicians and Oligarchs Love the Banks and Despise People
…the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005 has made things much worse for people.
And who was the senate lead on this POS? Memory says it was joltin’ joe biden, carrying the water for all those poor Delaware credit card and banking corporations.
Barry meanwhile was too busy destroying what little was left of the dem party.

coloradoblue commented on the blog post Actually Obama, Your Health Care Law Will Not Stop Medical Bankruptcy
By the time Zero leaves office O’care will be discredited as a lousy democratic party failure which will cause the dem party to decline in popularity
Barry already caused the worthless dems to decline, remember 2010? I’d been voting Green since Clinton but I formally left the party, as did millions(?) of others, after Harry and Barry decided to f*ck us without the lubricant.
The repub house of reps and the repub governors and state leges are all thanks to the massive failure that is BHO.

…Obama will make a statement…
Well, he is good at statements, isn’t he?
That whole governing, leading thing, not so much.

Dear repub party, please go off somewhere quiet and isolated and die. Preferably slowly and painfully.
Dear dem party, ditto.
And O – GFY!

the Democratic voter base is either batshit crazy or just plain stupid.
Methinks both are correct.

coloradoblue commented on the blog post President Obama Makes Ronald Reagan Proud
President Obama…thinks old people should live badly, and in some kind of incomprehensible balance…lets look at Medicare…Obama… budgets an increase in Medicare premiums on a huge but undefined number of Medicare beneficiaries, charges a co-pay for home health care, increases deductibles on Part B, and charges a premium on people who buy near first dollar medigap coverage, all beginning in 2017.
I’m getting strong feeling that O’s sh*t budget attacks on the middle class is designed to get as many of us as possible to leave the US as soon as we “retire” or lose our jobs to outsourcing or the ‘Great Destruction’ that started in 2008.
If the R’s and D’s can get enough of the middle class to leave, the oligarchy will be able to return the poor to serfdom and all will be right with the good ol’ usa.

He publicly stated he would vote against the FISA…
It’s even worse. The bastard said he would filibuster FISA if it contained retroactive immunity, which it did.

Sociopath comes to mind.

I’m hoping for pre-revolutionary but betting that we’re several years into the Long Descent An argument can be made that we are several decades into the Long Descent.

His worship of Raygun is the only thing that isn’t complete bullsh*t about Obama.
Well, I’m sure O loves his family.
Other than that, Barry don’t care.

No, O is a moderate repub. If he were a true right-winger he’d propose privatizing Medicare.

coloradoblue commented on the blog post Marriage, Marijuana, Immigration, and Climate: How Millennials Will Remake American Politics
On many policy positions Millennials are well to the left of the Democratic base… Soon the political system will be forced to start respond to the preferences of this generation…
Potentially a schism in the Dem party as big as the one(s) now roiling the Repubs. Extreme right-wingers threaten to form a new party and already have a kinda new (Tea) party.
Millions of people, like this 63-year-old white male, left the Dem party prior to the 2010 elections because of our disgust with O’s lies and the senate Dems f*cking up pretty much everything they touched.
Do under 30s also go down the road of a new true liberal/progressive party or try to take over a middle-of-the-road Dem party? Or will they become what way too many of the current Dem party is – Pretenda-Dems.
We do live in interesting times.

coloradoblue commented on the diary post Keystone XL Coverup: Department of State Hides Oil Industry Connections by Jcoleman.
The question is, how can the State Department get away with routinely ignoring or burying connections between the oil industry and regulators responsible for Keystone XL?
Where do you think Obama is going to cash in when he retires. Wall Street and Energy companies.
This has been another SATSQs (Simple answers to simple questions).

coloradoblue commented on the blog post American Family Association faces reader backlash after attacks on Tim Tebow
In the Denver Post this morning Jeffress was quoted as saying that Tebow told him (Jeffress) that he (Tebow) would like to speak at some time in the future.
So did Tebow really ‘cancel’ or just postpone until the fires die down?
I haven’t found any additional on this.

coloradoblue commented on the blog post We Have a Health Care Price Problem Not a Volume Problem
How much does health insurance add to an average medical procedure?
I recently had an eye exam, in and out in 30 minutes. When I went to pay I was quoted $140.00 but when I pulled out my wallet and produced the cash, they said “Oh, no insurance? In that case it’s $95.00″. So for at least this routine exam, insurance added about 1/3 to the cost.
