Gosh Autumn…a disabled vet, huh? (Didn’t you serve about 20 years or so?) Whatever the length of your service, it was longer than Mr. Romney…and his FIVE (5!!!!!!!!) sons combined. Good grief. What’s wrong with this picture? It seems to me that you EARNED your service connected disability pension. The hard way. Tsk…tsk. And now you are basking in government handouts!
I’m also disabled…long story short, I had 8 MAJOR surgeries in 27 months. Had terrific insurance…that covered about 24 months of care (OOPS). To pay for the rest of my care, I lost my home, my pension, every single dollar I had earned and saved over 40+ years of work! Lazy me. How DARE I get sick. In America. That’s practically a felony Fortunately, I had the foresight of PURCHASING an insurance policy for long term care Before I became disabled.
And let’s not forget the young children who have the temerity of wanting to be fed every time they turn around…or the elderly in nursing homes. Talk about moochers. Kick out grandma and grandpa of their cushy nursing homes and put them to work. Or else.
Grrrrr…..Sorry. Gotta go. I simply can’t keep my tongue in my cheek any lomger.

DearTomonthebay…Did you also increase your weekly offering to the Church to help it pay all the settlements for its decades-old pedophile and cover-up scandals? Just wondering…

I agree.
Does being “fair and balanced” require a media interviewer to include the KKK Grand Wizard as a talking head to present the KKK’s side of why lynchings and cross burnings are “protected speech”? How about including a self-identified member of the Christian Right without any medical training to counter-balance a medical doctor speaking about women’s health issues?
