I think after it’s all said and done, the state deed recording statutes will control the chain of title issues with any property that was in any hypothecation, pledge and/or securitization scheme. The three bigges title insurers and ~~co-conspirator~~ some banks agreed to yet another bogus deal today to indemnify each other from clouded title claims. It reeks of anti-trust. Let’s see what the state AG’s have to say about it.
