Yes…great review. A new theme in her show is the drum beating for “Parades for our Heroes.” Apparently every city should have them.
And there is a comment she made that in her generation no one is as strong, moral, wonderful as the iraq Afghan Vets!!!

Great article. To hear the story in his own words— “My Soul is Rested,” an oral history of the civil rights struggle in the South edited by Howell Raines has amazing recollections by Reverend Shuttlesworth.
Steve Jobs built sweatshops in China….Fred Shuttlesworth faced every imaginable danger, endured incredible hardship and injury, and never wavered in the struggle for justice in this world.

Your points about the fundamental quality of Obama presidency I agree with. The references to the 3rd Reich are really out of place and wrong.
I think you could make a plausible case that this crew is as bad as the Bush era, although I would say that those guys were worse.
But that is light years away from the crimes of the Nazis….calling everyone you dislike a Nazi or a fascist doesn’t accomplish anything

I know this is not even of the slightest importance compared to the issue at hand—people losing their homes and bankers’ fraud.
But the New York Times piece linked to in this article is not an “unsigned op-ed,” it is an editorial.
The term Op-ed refer to the opinion pieces on the page opposite the editorial page. (hence, op-ed) A newspaper’s editorials are unsigned.
Leaving that aside….the Obama administration has been very predictable.
