I divested. I took my losses on my 401k and I have been urging my wife to do likewise. I put that money in gold and a vintage car that has appreciated 10% a year for each of the three years I’ve owned it. As for the stock market? There’s no “there” there.

I love motorsports, follow F1 religiously. I HATE that I will be unable to watch this round. Most rounds are not broadcast here in the US. But, my TV is off, and will remain off. I’m going to do yard work instead.

And simultaneously in another part of Oakland, six students shot on campus at a Christian College. While Police resources are use to arrest law abiding business owners and harass students and staff at yet another campus, Oaksterdam U. Oakland Police are providing protection from the crowds and cover for the Feds, while a mass shooting occurs somewhere else on their watch. If there’s not a public outcry over this perversion of “law enforcement”, I’ll be very dissapointed.

This will come as no surpise to Michael Phelps, and dozens of professional athletes in football, basketball, skiing….
Or any nunber of old hippies and young people of the fifties and sixities, who not only didn’t get cancer, but also didn’t go insane, give themselves brain damage, have children with disabilities, suffer low sperm counts, grow man-teats- or any of the other claims they’ve made during the last seventy years or so. No, most of my friends are successful, not lazy, crazy, or bearded and unwashed (OK, some of them are bearded and unwashed, but that’s because they ride motorcycles, not because the use pot). And they’re walking around defiantly healthy. -

I also think it’s telling that it was only after the polls showed him leading Iowa that this twenty year old “controversy” re-emerged. It’s almost like you guy’s (the press, ALL of you) suddenly noticed that ignoring him wasn’t going to make him go away. I LIKE it.

The simple fact the the media, both left and right are out to destroy Ron Paul makes it very likely I’ll vote for him. When the press goes to the lengths they did to ressurect a twenty-some year old controversy that tells me that the PTB, in BOTH parties are terrified. Good. I’d like to see more of that.
