We live in a world of reality. If everyone could retire at 55, who would pay for their retirement for the next 30 years? Oh yes, I know, the children.

5 million is not suspect when you realize these police work overtime as much as possible that last few years and then when they retire, they get 80% of the salary of the average of their last few years.

I am for a progressive tax code. But let’s not raise the rates on those making 350k and above. There are many “worst” jobs in the world. Farmers, fisherman our servicemen and women have jobs that are much more dangerous than firemen and policemen.
