  • What about a veto referendum. According to ballotpedia, Arizona voters have this option. Any thoughts on this,it worked in Ohio? I know Ohio is a strongerunion state than Arizona, but I personally think it could work.

  • Their is actually one appellate nomination of Obama that is under 45, her name is Caitlin Halligan, and she is a nominee for the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals. She is currently on the executive calendar of the Senate, yet unfortunately she was reported out of committee on a party line vote. She is also oppossed by one of the most powerful special interest lobbys in Washington the gun lobby, specifically the NRA and the Gun Owners of America. All because she worked on a gun manufacturers liability lawsuit in her position as Solicitor General, representing the state of New York on behalf of then Attorney General Spitzer. Just thought I throw it a little background to clarify things.

Correction to my previous post in case it didn’t get deleted: Corrected: the word “DID” with “DIDN’T” in the second sentence of the main paragraph Obama did get the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Hate Crimes Prevention Act, classifying sexual orientation and gender identity as federal hate crimes. He has also extended hospital visitation rights [...]
