Think you missed my point, is what is being done Over Here to affect policy. Sneakily. Not one word about who this guy is when he was on-air on MSNBC, seemed middle-of-the-road policy guy, but he snuck in some catch-phrases that made me look to see who was speaking. After I realized who it was, I rewound it to make sure they didn’t mention who he Really is, just that he was a ME expert….did you look at his resume? He was So deep in Bremer’s regime and so bad I remembered him.

Along with other nefarious things, he was head of Governance in Irak. When they set up the new cabinet.

And now he’s on MSNBC with no mention of his prior experience.

It warranted a visit to fdl to mention it. HOpe I’m wrong.

I posted in Siun’s thread earlier and tweeted to you –

Neocon and Bremer’s policy hit man J Scott Carpenter is back – this time on @MSNBC as MEPolicy expert.
    curiously,
his past ‘policy’ jobs under the Bush administration were not mentioned.

He not only was policy advisor under Bremer, but Governance when Irak appt’g Cabinet…
And remember that little lobbying/policy$making of E European countries? He was involved with Slovenia during that time.
    the list is long…
    keep an eye on him.

Hey Pups – Hey Elliot – a drive by ‘infogram’ ha.

Just posted this in Siun’s thread, want to make sure people are on the lookout – MSNBC just had one of the main policy guys from Bush on as an expert on Egypt. He is, but not the kind we want helping form public opinion and policy. Name human rights violations and every other mess we’ve ranted was so wrong about Irak on here, and his fingers were in it.

    Here’s the repost –

    Hey Pups.

    Siun-

J Scott Carpenter was just on MSNBC as a Middle East policy expert. Remember him? I did – http://tinyurl.com/4wz3r5n

One of Bremer’s set-up guys. And other things. And remember the Eastern European R group that had its PAC/lobbyist fingers/money affecting policy over there?
    Same guy.

    My head reeled.

Wanted to make sure people knew the hawks are still out there parsing words in public.

The ‘hostess’ acted like he is a dove concerned about the welfare of Egypt. Maybe, but certainly not its people. No mention of his earlier career moves.

If video is posted I’ll post link later.

    Take care.

I am on a mailing list for JTA dot org’s news alert and they were bragging about the possibility of stronger Jewish influence in Congress and what it could mean…how five Dems went down but Republican left is in a powerful position…

It was worded as ‘news’ and layout of a possible outcome, and oh how exciting that would be…/s

That particular one about Cantor was sent out Nov. 3rd, week and a half ago.

Should subscribe to their email News Alerts, pretty interesting reads, always…
just wanted to put that out there.

  • Guess that book should have a lot of footnotes…

I am Most amused that he is married to a Librarian…and he ‘whipped in’ borrowed passages and prose into his own memoir….

Wonder if Oprah will comment on it./s

  • It would be funny if he quoted anything from the Associated Press, and see what they do….

Hah, You?, Angry? gosh. By what/which measuring stick? Is her view the commonly used tool to stifle – in that all ‘good families/groups’ one’s expression of passion or emotion is equant to ‘anger’? aha. one step closer.
    weakening the dollar.
    dangerous.

We’re floating checks while driving a bmw…but it’s used, so, really, that proves that we’re really broke…

Singh already has what he wants from us, no way would corps allow it to be used to bargain – I keep wondering what we were trying to get from Him…or smooth over/lay the ground work for someone else…

but I still think there is a domestic ‘fluff’ looktheotherway play going on…
and it must be a biggie to allow/justify the timing of the release of HIS OWN commission’s report

Part of me is thinking that this was staged for O to be able to say to economic tour countries and G countries’ gathering for ‘talks’ – ‘we got nuthin’- our hands are full, see? we have no resources, look how hard we’re trying, gee, what a mess we’re in’ – And keep in mind that France just raised SS eligibility age…and got away with it over protests…

Dunno, something got chucked over the back fence…and I’m wonderin’ what it is…

By O leveraging, I mean, what is being negotiated that it took something this large to usurp it…what’s in the other hand?

Nice news cycle grab while he’s out of the country, nice news cycle grab during lame duck session, why would they want this now?

Haven’t heard anything yet that helps it make sense to me.

I have a few ‘doesn’t make sense’ questions about the CC co-chairs- among them –

something this big being thrown prematurely onto the table? What’s the chip Obama’s administration is leveraging from the other side that we don’t know yet?

And after seeing a few of the commission members on tv, something is not being pointed out that is in the commission report. They’re doing the old lady ‘point point’ but not saying what they’re pointing to…threw raw meat into a pack of pit bulls and none of them are attacking it?
    Hunh?
    Head shake.
Dunno, something else in there, cornerstone/piece of puzzle missing in my opinion.

    That’s what I’m wondering…

    couldn’t resist —

how ’bout a maple-balsamic reduction, for finicky kitties having a hard time adjusting to not-so-gourmet fare….”got enny gravy?” will be the new ‘what’s for dinnner’…..

fat cat feasters won’t see a change in their fare, everyone else, a new generation of french-fried meats and do-it-yourself sauciers to make it palatable…leading to ‘gloss-coating’ becoming an even more widely used multi-purpose word.
    “Perfect gravy Pearl, looks good”.
Yeahah America, eat what’s put on your plate and dig in. There’s starving children in, oh wait…….

    what’s wrong with this picture?
Maybe the wrong one is being illustrated.
Where I live, there are already hungry people – still trusting the wrong people to represent their interests.

p.s. attaturk – did you know Trader Joe’s is the parent company for Aldi? Not everything there is ‘bottom shelf’ as implied…a stripped-down’no middleman’ worker structure lowers overhead costs – few employees in every store, and no union.
