Even though I dress better than the hipsters, and I’m more energetic (yes!), and very organized and team-oriented, I’ve been passed over several times for promotion for the younger folks who have since left our company. My manager keeps thinking those young people would “stay longer”. She forgets the young ones get bored quicker. cracks me up. And because I have the maturity to see what’s going on, it doesn’t bother me every day, just most days.
Honestly, the headhunters are just salespeople and want the people who are easiest to sell and come packaged the way THEY perceive the client wants them.

I was ready to read, laugh, and move on until I read this:
The Entitlement Generation, generally those currently aged 21 to 31, is criticized for expecting material rewards in the absence of earning them through hard work, feeling entitled to them–hence the cynical nickname.
This “lady” can go fuck herself, hard, with abovementioned rusty garden rake. This is the generation that got saddled with Iraq and debt, lots and lots of personal debt and no way to pay it back much less get ahead with life. Fuck her.
