“Chicago police will be on edge…” You don’t know much about cops. The cops will get overtime and are more likely salivating over the prospect of beating up unarmed people with their new (and old) crowd control toys. Pushing people around is why they became cops…plus the union benefits they don’t care if no else has. Mindfulness and self-observation are not their most developed traits.

Marijuanna is good for lots of aliments, depression for one, alcoholism for another, but there are big players in the way of legalization,e.g., BigPharma, private prisons, law enforcement (overtime, high tech cop toys, disributors, and suppliers. The last of which includes national governments, e.g. Mexico etc. There’s just too much money to be lost if grass were legal.

Pot’s not going to be legal. Three’s too much money in it as contraban. The war on drugs is propaganda, but mostly about keeping the price high…Law enforcement is in it for the salaries and overtime…turf. -
