The new Fat Joe record is pretty good. But if I were you, I would start rediscovering all the music you scoffed out as a young punk rocker, when you were too fucking cool for all that bullshit you would hear blaring out of some divorced tax attorney’s T-roof Nissan Z. You know that guy. He rocks a hair-weave and holds very serious opinions about home audio equipment. I would go to the local 7-11 and purchase a super hot Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet band cassette or an early post-doobies Michael McDonald record, “If that’s what it takes,” for example. Then I would embrace the comb-over and take that Nissan out of a test drive, just to be like, “You know what 30s, I’m not afraid of you. I accept you.”
