I think I have you beat, I boycotted Shell Oil back in the 80′s when they refused to divest in South Africa and I have never used a Shell gas station since. After a few years you don’t need to try to remember to avoid them anymore it just becomes second nature. I don’t even see Shell stations anymore when I am looking for gas.

We are. We keep on voting for the party endorsed Democrat because we are too afraid of voting for a Kucinich (crazy little UFO guy) or Nader (Yeah, I’m the guy who let Bush steal the 2000 election…sorry) because of the harsh angry words we will have to face when some Republican stormtrooper wins instead. If we EVER want to have the representation we feel we deserve then we will have to be willing to face defeat plain and simple. Why would the Democrats ever give us ANYTHING when they KNOW we are going to give them our votes without a fight? How can we think that we can exert any pressure on a party who sees us as a “sure thing”?
I’m not advocating we vote for Republicans or Teatards, but when Democrats are only marginally better then maybe we should take a chance and have the courage of our convictions to vote for a candidate we WANT to vote for (for a change).

Most of the people who commit crimes in this country are black? Just a guess here but I am willing to bet that most of the people who commit crimes in this country are Christian… Does that mean Christians are inferior as a group since they are obviously overrepresented among the criminal classes?
