Yes we do have a sense of humor. More importantly, we have a sense of emphathy which you seem to lack, making you less human than us. Ha!

Wise: Able to make judgements based on experience, and understanding the long term consequences

I asked my aunt how it felt to be 105 years old. She said, Its awful. I look in the mirror and I see a monster. I don’t want to go out in public. My aunt was an intelligent, caring person, a good mother, neighbor, etc. etc., so sad to see her feeling that way about [...]

“Enough of this counter-productive divide and conquer bullshit.”
Right, and last time in 1850 the USA didn’t have the whole world ready to pounce on the leftovers. Aren’t tornados bad enough? Nazi bullies need to be told something constructive to do with all that energy. -

“If Obama wants to complain about someone, he should look in the mirror and say, ‘Why the hell didn’t you have some balls and go for single payer?”
Maybe you have some good points here, but shouldn’t we give credit where credit is due is due? Obama has two daughters and a wife to protect from the poweres that be, which has effectively got him by the balls. And if you are elected, which is part of the job, ’cause you gotta get there first, and supposing you have children, do you think you could do any better? And how do you know he didn’t go for single payer? Just asking…

I can’t help but think of the McArthy(spelling?) witch hunts and how it eventually burned itself out, and how for example Charlie Chaplin found it so offensive and stupid that he left the USA and never returned. Someone should do a study on the childhood experiences of the people who work in the National Security [...]

What a coincidence that most illigal immigrants are Catholics.
Does the Catholic church also support illigal immigrants from Buddhist or Muslim countries? Ho Humm for the whosiwhatit U.S Conference of Bishops. As if they were the only do gooders in the USA -

But most people couldn’t meet the requirements of the “purity” wingnuts even if they tried because the bar is constantly being moved
This is one of the techniques of the Inquisition, which never ends because it is the law inforcement arm of the Catholic church, even though there is supposed to be civil law (where the offence is only blamed on the civilian who broke it, not on all his relatives for seven generations and seven – or nine- degrees). The Catholic church does not submit to civil law, whichis one of the reasons it does not recognize divorce, and calls anyone who has a remaries in a civil court a “prostitute”. The Inquisition uses a word technology that makes it impossible for anyone to be correct unless they are doing exactly what the Catholic church wants. Phoooooo!!!!!!

Virgins are more easily manipulated. Where I live, if the priest says something the woman don’t like (the men are outside waiting for the women) the women start coughing loudly, even enough sometimes to drownd out the sound of his voice.

There may be a good reason for purging voter registration. In my state in 1966 a newly elected governor hired 50 high school students to go through the voter registration cards and pick out cards of voters who were dead (some were 140 years old), and duplicates. I found many voters registered 4 or 5 times during the two months I worked there before school started in the fall. The previous governor had been “elected” three consecutive 4 year terms. With computers, it would take a lot less time to check out registered votors, and I think its a good idea.

Response to ThingsComeUndone:
The Mormons have their own Bible, so they don’t care what YOUR Bible says. I never met a religious freak who didn’t treat God as if it was a ball, and made up their own game rules AND played the part of referee. Religion as sport is just for competitive men and women the rest of us who are interested in process and moving along with the changes in the world, have no interest in churchies. I met the grandson of Mr. Smith one time, knocking on doors. He freely admitted he didn’t understand or believe the religion he was touting. Any religion can be abusive.

You are assuming there were actually serious attempts to impliment proper spending of all that money the EU was dishing out without demanding accountability? You are assuming that the politicians didn’t just hand over the money to their friends to refirbish old family palaces, race tracks, etc. (not to mention plastic surgery so they can hide during the coming purge…?)
