Sorry, but your thesis is horribly dishonest. Chait, according to your own reporting, said “budget issues,” not “budget bills.” And in no way did he say that the health insurance bill wasn’t a budget issue. That was something you made up.

Dishonesty will not serve you. It will, however, serve people like Chait.

I seem to recall Eric Holder being in favor of prosecuting torturers and other war criminals before his boss, Barack Obama, told him to look ahead.

Has the individual ever posted a photo of his or her firearm on the internet with the intention of making political a statement? 2. Has the individual ever applied the word [...]

I think it’s very important NOT to ask whether JFK was assassinated by the CIA, the military, Big Oil, the mob, Dallas Police, or Oswald. The ties that bind these factions can readily be demonstrated.

The media and government conspired to invade Iraq. They murdered tens of thousands of people. We all know it. We saw it happen.

Why, please tell me, why, knowing this, why, as a rule, you would doubt relatively trivial conspiracies like 9/11 or the JFK assassination.

The second problem with the Hartmann/Waldron books is that they rely heavily on Harry Williams. Williams was Robert Kennedy’s Cuban go-to guy, his post-Castro chosen one. The authors take his word for pretty much everything. One little problem: Harry Williams’ CIA contact agent was none other than Howard Hunt. Howard Hunt was one of the people who murdered John F. Kennedy.

The Hartmann/Waldron books are frauds (there are two of them). You can, or could, view the documents at their website.

The key document, the authors tell us, was titled “Plan for a Coup in Cuba.” However, when you look at said document it becomes immediately apparent the authors are lying. The actual title of the document is “State-Defense Contingency Plan for a Coup in Cuba.”

The authors took a document that discussed what do do in the event of a coup in Cuba, and they changed the title to make it look like a PLAN to orchestrate a coup in Cuba. They cite the lie over and over and over and over. It’s silly. I honestly don’t know how Thom Hartmann let himself get mixed up in this.

I think you guys are getting this all wrong.

The writers of the Bush book are not borrowing from people like Bob Woodward. In reality, the writers of the Bush book told Bob Woodward what to write in the first place.

In other words, the Bush book is being ghost written by the very same people who do the ghost writing for Woodward — the people from the Bush White House.

Don’t forget, Bob Woodward’s BUSH AT WAR was LITERALLY advertised on the front page of the the Bush White House website. That’s not a joke; that really happened.

There’s much effort now to rewrite history, to pretend that Woodward was somehow anti-Bush. That is not the case at all. Woodward worked in the Bush White House since before 9/11. They gave him whatever they wanted him to print. They told him what to write, not the other way around.

I can’t work with these numbers.

We need to know what percentage of the Teabaggers ran on the Republican ticket. If it’s a high percentage (like 100%), and 32% won in a Republican year, then that’s pretty solid proof that the Teabaggers got slaughtered. Am I supposed to be making that assumption?

    I guess I just don’t speak Teabagese.
