The problem is that the DCCC is in a loss aversion mode. They don’t want to give up seats to the Republicans even if the Democrats are not fully in line with the Democratic party in all respects, such as a woman’s reproductive rights. Until we have equal representation in Congress, men will be ruling things and this will keep happening. Even with Pelosi as leader of the House, she caves to loss aversion. If you are in those Democrats’ districts – run against them! It is as simple as that. Emily’s List and other Women’s groups will support you.
