If Waxman truly functioned as a representative of the American people, he would have used all of the weapons in his arsenal…specifically calling Obama’s bluff re: his petulant “I’m the President” response. Seriously. How about we prosecute Mr. “my words carry weight” President for breaking the law re: War Powers Act. Now, THAT would impress me. The petulant brat (haven’t we already dealt w/this pathetic behavior w/Bush?) might need a clearer understanding of just how much “weight” one loses when one is sporting pinstripes behind bars.
Waxman could have put an end to the perpetual Kabuki theatre but he chose not to. He has the power but he’ll never use it because that’s not in his job description. He sickens me almost as must as Obama does.
