Mr. Church Lady?
Pardon me, but the stick up your ass has a stick up it’s ass.

Sorry to all the good folks here, but all the attempts to blame Obama for all of the evils of the world fall far short of reasonable thought.
Best wishes to all, I hope you can find a way to save us all from the evil that dwells in this country (and the world.)
I’m tired of all the bomb throwing idiocy. -

Very disappointing (but clueless) attempt at cleverness.

Basically, what you think you know on this issue is false knowledge.

He can just start clearing out the prison so it eventually no longer holds people that the Republicans believe deserve to continue to be imprisoned as terrorists, even though they have not been convicted of any terrorism offenses. He has that authority as president.
If this is true, why is it not done? Not asking you to read O’s mind, but what is wrong with this picture?

Kevin,
WRT “the prison at Guantánamo Bay,” Obama came in to office determined to close the facility.
As you know, he was thwarted by Republicans in Congress.
Can you you tell us how he can accomplish that goal without congressional support?
Just wondering if you have any clue at all as to how that could happen.
Thank you for your efforts. -

Sharing your pain at having to transfer all those files from your old Mac.
Have you tried Carbon Copy Cloner?
It used to be free, but is now a commercial product.
I happen to have an older version… -
foxman commented on the diary post Sunday Food: Barbequed Ribs by Ruth Calvo.
Here’s the secret I learned working at a rib joint in college: Use a big deep pan with a raised rack on the bottom. Season the ribs with pepper and/or a good spice mixture. Place the ribs on the rack in the pan and fill the bottom of the pan with water. Cover the top [...]

I’m above the 55 yr. old cutoff for screwing everyone out of their (paid for) SS benefits. My wife is just below the cutoff age.
If Willard wins, we are so screwed…

Ha,
you may have “a point” there B.
Then again…
have a good evening. -
foxman commented on the blog post Late Night: A Familiar Diagnosis
I think we’re all feeling a little edgy these days.
B. Obama has not been the progressive Prez we hoped for.
W. Mitt would be (IMHO) so much worse. In the upcoming election, my only consideration, because I think it is the most important and long lasting, is who appoints the next 2-3 Supreme Court justices.
If Romney wins, we’re all screwed for the next 25 years.
If Obama wins, we might hold on to a few freedoms that we’ve always taken for granted. -

hi Mary,
I don’t think I’m feeling any grumpier than anybody else posting here.
Is Swopa grumpy? I don’t know. I just don’t see eye to eye.
Best wishes for a fine weekend to you.

And what is your point?
I saw the video and thought the “Romnesia” bit was hilarious.
I remember George The First and Saint Ronnie all too well.
Don’t remember “Clintonesia.”You think it’s relevant?
Okay, whatever.

foxman commented on the blog post Late Night: Conventional (and Post-Conventional) Warfare
I know it’s a stretch to think Mitt will bail, but I don’t think his ego could face being bested by Obama. The R’s have been blowing the dog whistle so hard to appeal to the racist element of the GOP that being shown up in public would be a humiliation that Willard is not willing to endure.

I don’t think that Romney is up to debating Obama.
I don’t think it will happen.
If the Obama campaign or one of it’s surrogates calls Romney-Ryan out for their lies, Mitt will use it as an excuse to say: “I can’t share the same stage with someone (and, you know, one of THEM) who has called me a liar.” -

It’s so hot, even Mitt Romney seems cool. (ba-da-boom)

Hey Suzanne, thanks for sharing that. Been a long time since I last saw that movie (a real tearjerker.)
It’s hotter than a stolen copy of Mitt’s tax returns here in Chicagoland. -
foxman commented on the diary post Why I Cannot Envision Voting for Obama in November by EdwardTeller.
salving one’s moral conscience by not voting for Obama is far from being a sufficient response…We are facing a serious problem that will not be solved in the voting booth.
May I quote you on that?
Thanks.Best wishes to EdwardTeller & Perris, I enjoy your posts and comments.

You’d rather have Romney make the next appointment?
Your fairy princess is NOT going to be the Prez.
Sorry to intrude. -
