ghostof911 wrote a new diary post: Occupiers Apologize for Mayor’s Boorish Behavior
Residents of Wilmington, Delaware were distressed today to witness their bumbling mayor humiliate himself and his city with his loose-cannon rhetoric. The members of Occupy Delaware empathize with the distressed city residents and wish to apologize for the mayor’s boorish behavior. Although the members of Occupy Delaware have been maintaining an orderly encampment at Wilmington’s Spencer Plaza since early November and have been scrupulously [...] -

Just got a call from an Obamabot making sure I will be voting in Tuesday’s PA primary. The gist of her script was that it was a given that all Democrats are supporting Obama.
I replied that I will be voting, writing in Bradley Manning for President.
George W. Bush was a less despicable president than Obama.

Can the corporations dropping support of ALEC get Pennsylvania to rescind its recently passed restrictive voter ID bill?
The Pennsylvania voter ID bill is being driven by state Rep. Daryl Metcalfe, who has attended ALEC conferences. He’s yet another state legislator who’s pushing the priorities of a corporate interest group over the voting rights of his constituents.
Update: The Pennsylvania state Senate has passed HB934, the voter ID law.

Clever staging indeed. He keeps his hand in the till at Big Pharma while he suckers everyone else into thinking he’s on the marijuana reform community side.
Great post, Brian.

I agree with David, that recorded statement is damning. It’s his motive for premeditated murder.

Whose side are you on?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=dCI1CeP0D5M March 13, the birthday of JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon, was passionately commemorated by Occupy Delaware. It had announced on March 11 the protest group would target JPMorgan Chase’s CEO Jamie Dimon at the sale, held at the Redding City/County Building in Wilmington.
Besides March 13 being Jamie Dimon’s birthday, according to [...]

Bought-and-paid-for Tom Carper. He makes a mockery of the Democratic party in Delaware. His only concern is the well-being of those in the penthouse suites of the Chase building in which he is allowed to hang his hat. Tool.

What a coincidence. Read David Dayan’s post to see the scam that BoA is working. It can be taken for granted that Chase is doing the same thing.
BoA let through just enough HAMP modifications to avert suspicion and allay congressional critics, while not enough to incur any substantial losses to its own bottom line, according to [...]

Thanks Wendy. Not enough days in the week to target all the TBTF banks.
The success of Citi and the other behemoths depends on local sheriffs to foreclose and sell swindled properties as fast as they can. If we throw a wrench into those plans, Citi and the rest won’t be partying so heartily.

Shocking. Pennsylvania is the lastest state to pass legislation intended to disenfranchise voters, even in the restricted two-party system.
Despite thousands of phone calls and emails in defense of voting rights, late yesterday, March 7, the Pennsylvania Senate voted 26-23 in favor of a bill to mandate voter ID, which will disenfranchise tens of thousands – maybe hundreds of thousands – of Pennsylvanians.
(3/7/12) HARRISBURG – By the slimmest of margins, the Pennsylvania Senate today passed legislation to mandate all voters in all elections to show a form of identification, as designated in the bill. The American Civil Liberties Union of Pennsylvania responded to the vote by calling it “a defeat for democracy.”
