Here in Redneckistan, the Teabillies were out in force showing their hatred-as-patriotism while eating lard sandwiches. I’m happy, especially for women, that this part of Obamacare has come true.

Gordon Hilgers commented on the blog post Julian Assange, Pursued for the Crime of Practicing Journalism
I have never seen a country come down on someone so hard for simply embarrassing those in power. Assange is definitely guilty of provocation, but this worldwide pursuit reveals the sheer paranoia of those who seek to control us without any ethic of fairness to guide them.

Gordon Hilgers commented on the blog post Cato Guy Thinks You Guys Are Lazy And Stupid
What I find reprehensible about Libertarian think-tanks in general is their sniveling attitude towards everything but their punked-out theories of economics, the ones that don’t work. What got us out of the recession? Keynesianism.
Cato’s excuse for shipping jobs overseas reveals their true ideology: Business exists to enrich an entitled few, not to provide work and income for the vast majority. That’s an air-headed view to take, mainly because the bottom line of that kind of ideology can be summed-up with one ideogram: $

Gordon Hilgers commented on the blog post WikiLeaks Uncovers Report Showing Homeland Security Monitored Occupy Movement
I’m laughing. Honestly. People have a right to protest in this country, people have a right to assemble, but because people have gone after what’s really important to the power elite in America–$$$–Homeland Security is called-in?

I’m so sad they’re so disappointed.

Gordon Hilgers commented on the blog post Obama’s 2008 Hope Morphs Into 2012 Slash-and-Burn
What needs to be looked at is the sheer, unmitigated anger among Liberals and Progressives–who see the uberconservative corporate “Borg” pushing an “anti-fairness” agenda from Maine to the Rust Belt and beyond. The problem Obama has on his hands right now is that Tea Partiers don’t respond to reason. If you question that, I urge you to take a look at Tea Party Facebook pages to witness first-hand the untold number of bigoted comments–most of them filled with an overabundance of spelling errors and rage.
