It’s a beautiful film you’ve made. Of course, the whole situation is heart wrenching. It was beautiful to see the Israelis who are in solidarity with the Palestinians and to see Mohammed going from disbelief to distrust to making friends with them.
Will you be going back to Sheikh Jarrah?
Israeli government policies to cleanse itself of Palestinians are driving the monstrosity of evicting people from their homes and lands who been there for generations.

I just watched The Program, the clip that Kevin linked to above. Very well worth the 8 minutes. I was startled to hear Binney tell Ellsworth that any conversation you’re engaged in could be listened to if you have your cell phone with you – even if it’s turned off.
Also, he created the program being used to spy on the Russians way back when. That same program is the one that’s now been turned on us.

A couple of English teachers were doing the verbal equivalent of rolling their eyeballs. I was really crestfallen. I had no idea they were so very mainstream. A lawyer dismissed it because it had no footnotes/sources.

Classified Woman is a truly astonishing book. I couldn’t put it down, horrifying as it was. It looked to her like her superiors and co-workers were aiding the enemy and she was approached to do that as well.
