Let’s be honest. Philosophically, there is no difference between violence and the ‘threat of violence’ with the ability to carry out that threat.

The oligarchs/MOTU control is backed by a very real threat of violence. While simultaneuosly socializing people to believe that their threats of violence are legimate but any attempts to counter that threat with the same is unacceptable.

Nothing will ever change as long as we continue to allow this.
