Historically, Religion has no equal for it’s ability to bind people together in inspirational group think and arbitration of all that is moral, righteous and good.

Importantly, as it instructs discipline and morality in its followers, religion preoccupies and distracts the group from noticing the deviant behavior of its betters aka leaders.

They’re busy drinking, smoking and fornicating in their ivory towers.
