You’re absolutely right, Mule. It’s been the voting for the lesser of two evils over the past several decades that have gotten us to this point. If people would reject the fallacy that by not voting for one of the two major party candidates one is “wasting their vote,” we would not have the same level of political corruption and ineptitude that we have now. The only wasted vote is the vote not cast. But it is one’s civic duty to vote for the person they feel is best qualified to represent them. If you don’t vote for the person best qualified to represent your views, you’re guaranteeing that your views will never be represented.
