HanTran commented on the blog post Late Night: Kids Should Work for Food
The idea of people, kids, working for a reward, if the compensation is reasonable, should not be automatically scoffed at.

HanTran commented on the blog post Petraeus Resigns From CIA, Citing Affair
Unexpected? Really???? I think it has been clear that he not only screwed the pooch re: Benghazi but that he then set his PR machine out to try to hide that fact and, in doing so, really dumped on Obama. Benghazi, Obama reelected, FBI investigation, and 3 days later he “resigns”. The only thing slight unexpected here is that Obama seems to have grown a pair.

HanTran commented on the blog post VIDEO: Dan Ellsberg Handcuffed at White House for Protesting Obama’s Torture of Bradley Manning
Note State security videotaping the protesters (around 1:20) no doubt to be processed with face recognition technology and entered into a State database.

HanTran commented on the blog post Obama Offers Credit to People of Egypt for Mubarak Ouster
Haven’t your learned yet to pay attention to what Obama does, not what he says! And if you don’t think the Egyptian army has been back channeling to the US for the last few weeks you are living in a dream world.

HanTran commented on the blog post “Made in America” in the 21st Century
Maybe the first American ad i have ever seen that was deeply and seriously populist/progressive in style. I am not convinced that the creators of this ad really cared if it “worked”, it said what they wanted to say.

HanTran commented on the blog post Rahm’s Ballot Eligibility Case Appeal and White House Interference
Look Bmaz I don’t much care for Rahm either but he clearly meets the elector standard and the residency requirement is not defined or discussed at all, except you saying that “business of the US” doesn’t apply to it.
The Il court of appeals decision is dreadfully reasoned, it is a morass of self-contradictions. Notice particularly how madigan vs baumgartner and walsh vs county officers… is brought up early in the decision and then entirely ignored.

Yup, those rich folks get VERY fast action from their servants.
